      I mean… there's very few reasons to need a pocket scale that measures only up to 200g at 0.01g increments that doesn't include some form of illegal activity right?

        You can use them to weigh trading cards (pokemon, yugioh, mtg) and while not illegal is kind of dodgy.

        Apart from that i can see it being useful in a chemistry classroom since they dont take up much room, but at the same time beaker size and whatnot makes it a challenge.

        I was going to ask what legitimate purpose people would have for these… I'd have thought anything that needs to consistently be this accurate wouldn't be trusted to a pocket sized, $20 scale.

          Yeah, I mean I guess I use a mini scale for my coffee beans, and if I went camping a lot I could see the benefit of it being pocket and 'rugged'. So there we go one of the 'few reasons' identified.

        I use mine to weigh hop additions for my home brewing, and also to calibrate the down-weight on my record players arm. I'm not aware that either of those activities are illegal, though my music choice is questionable.

    Bought a different micro scale from ebay but whilst the thing is accurate, the threshold to have it trigger/start measuring seems quite high. Very difficult to weigh a few granules of yeast for example. Are all scales created equal or do some trigger with only a few micro grams?
