If you login into the game during the event time (30 June to 15 July) you will get the 500000 blood points.
The shards are split over the first 7 days but if you log in on 8 July you will still get all 9000 shards ("Players logging in later in the event will still be able to claim earlier login rewards, so no one misses out").
