From all reports, a great 5g phone with AMOLED 120hz display and SD870 CPU. Support for root, ROMs and GCAM. Must be paid for in 2 steps as per the below rules.

Banggood "Saver Deposit Sale" rules: TL;DR - pay $4 today and $400 next week. Ships after next week.

Orders placed in our Price Storm promotion take only 2 steps to complete. These steps can be summarized as first, deposit payment and second, balance payment.
You can book a product by paying a small deposit ($1 or $3). Paying the deposit means that you have secured an extra discount that will be applied at the second and final stage which is balance payment. Upon payment of the balance you will get the product at an exclusively low price.
Deposit Payment Period: June.30 16:01-July.07 16:00(UTC+8)
Balance Payment Period: July.07 16:01-July.10 16:00 (UTC+8).
You must pay the balance during the period stated above. Failure to do so will trigger order cancelation and the deposit fee is non-refundable.
Points, coupons and allowances cannot be used to make deposit or balance payments.
The final price is the actual amount you paid for the product, which equals deposit and balance payment.
Banggood reserves all rights to interpret or amend the above guidelines. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service.

It might be targeted. The link doesn't point to the price storm promotion. Shows $446

    • I got the price storm email for the X3 pro 8gb 256 for $315.
If this link works I can share mine too

    • Me too

      Go from this page https://www.banggood.com/marketing-saver-deposit-sale/tid-28…
It lists all saver deposit sale items

    • it's not targeted - there was an issue with the OzB link field truncating the last part of the URL, which gives you access to the saver deposit sale. Link fixed now. Needed the "&deposit=1" added to the end.

    Great phone, great price.

Obligatory warning about VoLTE and VoWiFi being problematic on Telstra - no 4G calling could mean no phone calls when 3G is shut down.

    https://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/3rppj4r3

    • I guess that's common in Poco phones. A friend has X3 NFC n using boost (Telstra retailer) n VoLTE doesn't work for him.

      • I'm using Poco F3 with Boost and have both 4G and VoLTE enabled. I'm on Arrow OS and never tested it on stock MIUI.

I recently got the Poco X3 and just as a heads up for the custom ROM crowd, you have to wait 7 days to get your bootloader unlocked. Pretty annoying, but better than not being able to do it at all I suppose.

    • Good option as MIUI quality has taken a hit with 12.5. There's some videos on YouTube about it with bugs and all.

Overall, has gotten a lot smoother for me on 12.5 but still changes itself in the settings to 60hz at times. Also frame drops in the UI here and there.

Seems to be a recurring theme for Xiaomi, they eventually sort out the bugs but then with a major release like .5 or 1.0, the performance goes down the drain again.

12.5 breaks all my google apps and apps using underlining google services. I'm waiting the bloody 7 days to flash a previous version.

      • I much prefer the close to vanilla AOSP ROMs myself.

Bloody amazing phone. Great price. I have one. Hands down.

  • $377 for the redmi note 10 pro as well. Half the processing power though just to get a bit better camera.

    • banggood had note 10 pro for $338 last week, might be worth waiting if you want it

      • The camera is decent but the phone is barely faster than my now older Redmi note 8 pro. I think ill just get the poco f3, the camera isn't as good but it isnt bad either.

  • I got oppo x2 neo from the previous deal (still in box), do you guys think it's worth returning it and order this one? The specs seems much better, but oppo comes with 256gb 12gb and 2 years local warranty.
    What do you guys think?

Better camera with OIS and tele but significantly slower processor. I wouldn't be worried about the ram, anything over 6 doesn't seem to make much difference now.

I guess it depends on how important the camera is to you.

I always confuse with the NFC… is it included or not?

It says NFC Yes but then mentions that it is market/region dependent so I am so confused.

  • Update: Ordered one but never received. The local courier (PFL Logistics) is a scam. Check their google ratings.
