Nah purchase more Nest Wi-Fi to add to your setup or replace Nest Wi-Fi with the MW12.

I have MW6 and they are working really well, but I really want these.

    • what sort of transfer rate can you get over it (locally)?

  • Bought a set of these, setup was easy. Mesh worked well. My Telstra cable is at 100Mbps, I got 100M everywhere in my 4 bedroom house now!
The only downside is that I could not setup my Samsung Smartthings connection to Echo spot using this Mesh Wifi; but only successful using my original Telstra wifi network. May be something to do with the router settings?

    • could be the bandwith? 2.4, 5, and 5-2 Ghz bandwidths

    • Do you do wired or wireless mesh?

  • Question, I have some MW3 units. If I mix and match, will I get the higher speed if I'm connected to the MW12 node?

    • I don’t believe so. The threshold is with MW3, at least when devices connect to MW3 they won’t get the speed of MW12 has
