It's a bit of strange situation, the memory controller on the chip supports unbuffered ECC but it will depend on the motherboard to implement the feature.
You will also find online that it is "unsupported" but look up actual users and you will find people even overclocking ECC with it on Ryzen.
Expensive graphics card prices is stopping me (and I guess also a lot of other people) from buying these and PC components for a new build.
