No Mini 2 Batteries can't be used for the Mavic Mini first gen.
They do go the other way (Mini 1 batteries in Mini 2), and you can also use the Mini 2 charging gizmo on your Mini 1 batteries, but sadly no Mini 2 batteries in the original Mini drone.
