    • You can use it to cool down on a hot day by blowing it in your face

    • I blow dry my underarm hair with it.

  • Cheers OP

  • I bought this instead https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002600114556.html. Battery double the capacity and more powerful. ~$10 more and ships from Aus

    • I've tried the one you linked and it very loud, no instant on/off and speed ramps up. Personally prefer the Opolar.

      Refer to the above comment

      • Fair enough, however i see these as a feature…

    • +2

The updated Opolar version has 60000 rpm. This one is only 45000.

      • I can only see 33000 rpm & 6000 rpm on the 1 in 2, no 45000 rpm, or are you referring to the other style (3rd)? unless I'm blind I cant see 45000 rpm.

  • wondering if this is better than other brand.
Seems the other brand has more power and torchlight..

  • Why am I seeing US $35.59 price?

    Edit - All good

  • Dumb question.. anti-static doesn't matter when you're just blowing air, right?

    • +1

It will generate a bit of static as moving air does that. Manufactures can use materials that have less static buildup in the tube, but the air moving over a PCB will generate static in the PCB.

It's a non-issue though. For decades electronics have been very resilient to static build up or shocks causing any damage.

Here's a video that shows just how much of a non-issue it is, and why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4SjOv_szzVM

  • Thanks this much come in handy

  • Bought!

Total of $31.20 delivered. What a deal!

    • What currency did you use?

      • US. But you need a good card which offers good forex.

    • $31.20 in aud? Even the wholesale rate is around $37.xx now. Not sure how you managed to get it for so little unless your credit card had a cashback of sorts.

    • did you use paypal and did you have a balance?

  • +1

Can someone please explain to me why i just purchased this?

    • You checked ozbargain.com.au and saw the upvotes

      • +1

Now that would be an interesting feature :-) Auto-Purchase

  • Thanks OP, got one.

  • Is the 2-in-1 more powerful for suction?

edit: I seem to get a different price each time I refresh the page :/

  • +1

This is probably a better demo of the blowers power.

    Thanks OP!

    • I think the blue one may be a newer model with more power.

Can someone else confirm if that is the case?

      • +3

nope, there was an option of blue or black when purchasing this deal.

  • +1

    Cheers got one!
    … I'm sure it'll come in handy…

  • How strong is this? Would it blow dust out of CPU fans?

  • Oops wrong comment

  • This deal blows.

  • Looks like the combined vacuum/blower one has a stronger blower feature too (with 2 levels)

This one: https://www.opolar.com/products/2020-new-opolar-upgraded-cor… which is apparently the latest despite the title, lol.

https://youtu.be/rL7fGJxdiRg?t=408 is in Korean, but has the numbers

    • Nope… comments at the bottom suggest selecting the "type" is actually just about filters / extensions… $17 is for 3 filters or something :/

      • Yes, you are correct kudos..cheers

  • +1

Bought one in a deal last year. Absolutely worth it. Never knew how dirty keyboards are!

  • +4

Wow I paid double in Oct last year

      Same here.

Could anyone advise whether it is USB-C or microUSB to charge? Thank you

    edit: microUSB.

    • -1

It's important to know, right!? Because micro usb devices will stop working in 2022, yes?

  • Australia now showing and order placed.

    Caved due to pack mentality

  • any concern about battery dying after a few years…

    • -1

At this price it probably doesn't matter. Lucky to get more than 2 yrs out of a battery in $1000 phone these days.

  • Thanks OP, finally pulled the trigger, so saved a few bucks from previous deals.

Odd thing, I ordered 2 and paid via PayPal but after completing the order, it went back to OPOLAR cart page again, I looked at my bank account and shows as pending. No email confirmation yet.

    Anyone had this issue?
I hope this order goes thru OK, not willing to try it again.

    • +1

Mine did it too. I just clicked to go to payment page then on the next page Paypal is already selected. I clicked complete order and it gave me an order confirmation.

    • Just sent them a email, hopefully they reply/confirm quickly.

      • They replied to my email pretty quickly.
I had to do the order again, maybe some issue with PayPal?, had to pay by card, not PayPal.

  • Thanks OP. Got the vacuum and blower combo.

    • That both sucks AND blows

  • -2

    Got one and it's useless

    • what is it useless for?

      • +1

        Blowing smoke up someone's behind.

    • +1

Negged - no explanation (and others positive) and no reply to bobvegas

  • AUD38.07 from Macquarie Debit card

Take care not to use this to dust electronic components that may be susceptible to static discharge, this is great for cleaning keyboards fans and detached heatsinks though!

  • Thanks OP!

  • Other than cleaning computer internals, any other practical applications?

    • +1

I'm buying my son a Dremel for his maker needs so may come in handy working his 3D prints.

  • Blue Colour is available ~ Nice !

  • Now $56.99USD

    • +1

No still US$28.50. Add it to your cart and it should update.

  • Found a review between this and the one I got (Merkmark type) as per this previous deal.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/617981

Seems the one I got is more powerful so feel better now as I like the look of the Opolar one and nearly purchased. Mainly noting this for those that require as much power as possible. Even my one is not as strong as I would like and sometimes grab my Ozito portable garden blower out for more umph! The above link also has a comparison between the two and below link a comparison vid.
    Comparison: https://youtu.be/mpqrDqvK2GY

    • Wow, the Merkmark blows the Opolar away!

      • I would like to see a comparison video of the Merkmark type (rated at 45000RPM) against the OPOLAR 2IN1 - TAD05 (rated at 60000RPM).

  • Thanks OP. Paid with 28 Degrees for 2-in-1 combo. came out $36.86 AUD

  • Thank you for sharing this. I've been looking for a good portable duster for work to clean out PC cases & laptops so grabbed the 2 in 1 upgrade. $67 shipped with Bendigo.

  • +1

    It's $57 USD now =/

    Guess deal is over?

Edit: Nvm, I'm just retarded lol

    • Discount will be applied on checkout.

    • discount applied at the checkout

I bought the generation 2 one last year and it was garbage (basically plastic bits snapped off on first usage). To Opolar's credit though, they refunded promptly.

  • +1

    Anyone got shipping notice yet?

    • Just got an email to say its shipped. Using dragonfly too which is fantastic, they deliver on weekends. It seems the orders are being fulfilled by Amazon.

My ETA is by 8pm tomorrow.

      • wow, i didnt get anything, not yet anyway

        • Hopefully soon, mine just got delivered

      • +1

weird, i only got a "4PX tracking" number and when i click on it, it brings me to some dodgy international shipping website that provides no detail, and also says unknown for both the origin and destination. i ordered this pretty much right when the deal was posted too, so i should be one of the earlier batches, though i was assuming it would take weeks to get here from America, but not sure how you got yours so quick

        • +1

4PX is fine. That means your parcel is sending from China directly.

Last time I used 4PX for Taobao purchase two months ago, it took less than a week to arrive in Australia.

        • Same here! I was beginning to get worried as the 4PX Tracking says 'null' to 'null' and it's got a hazard light saying 'abnormality'. I emailed them, but haven't got any response yet!

      • +2

Strange as I got mine delivered today from Amazon. Didn't we buy it from Opolar directly? How did Amazon get involved with this one????

        • +2

Opolar also run a store and sell through Amazon.

They just used their existing shipping channel to fulfill the orders.

          • @fatal: that explains it.

        • +1

Yeah same here. What a trip

        • I was very confused about this too.
          I got it OK.

Smaller unit than expected, but seems ok enough, still to test it on PC.
I kinda wish I went for the 2 in 1 instead, maybe when/if they go on sale again around this price I get 1 if I got some spare cash.

    • I still haven't received anything - no order update since confirmation, no tracking number - nothing!

I am about to send them an email.

      • i got my tracking number from 4PX at 9:50 PM yesterday. its being send from china. ordered the day this deal was posted.
