          • @DoctorCalculon: Does your tracking no. actually show any useful info or is it 'unknown' to 'unknown' as well?

@tojy: This is the latest from the 4PX track page (the new version):

@tojy: So, your package is just a couple of days behind mine. @SardineHead is ahead of us both.

I wasted my time emailing OPOLAR earlier in the week. They never respond within a day or two.

          • @DoctorCalculon: 4PX seem pretty fast. today it just arrived in Sydney

  • Apart from cleaning your keyboard what other use would you recommend for this?

    • i am planning on using it for BBQ…. blowing on charcoal to boost

    • I wonder if it could be used for filling up balloons

      • Interesting.

Though, by that logic, would our hair dryers be able to do so already? (set to cool mode, of course)

  • +3

Bought 2 so I can dust the other duster. Thanks OP

  • +2

I noted can of compressed air were $20 at Jaycar just last weekend and had considered something like this for cleaning old radios/circuit boards etc. This deal has to be worth a punt.

  • went up $1USD, Now $41AUD. Ordered!

  • Just bought the OPOLAR 2-in-1 Vacuum for $70.31 AUD
-Thought the Vacuum part would better good for cleaning my desk
-Also got for blow hair off me after a self-haircut
I'm a little worried about how long this will last, at the very least it has a 18 month warranty

  • +5

I managed to grab one on the flash sale for USD $1 Dollar
I have received an confirmation order

    • Damn, lucky you!

    • holy shit! nice one

  • Not sure if this is just happening with me; but the tracking is showing 'null' to 'null'. Is anyone else having the same issue or are you getting accurate tracking info?

    • Mine doesn't even seem to have been shipped, and i can get a tracking number either. Weird.

      • +1

Mine wasn't showing up shipped either, but it just arrived at my door from Amazon.

  • how long they take usually to come?

    • I received it today, bought on 9/7, it was packed under Amazon package so I guess they used their channel via Amazon warehouse, pretty impressive service but the blower was flat so have to wait for fully charge then try it out

      • Why are some us getting postage by 4XP and others by Amazon? 🤔

Did you use PayPal? Starting to worry as they're not replying to my emails and I used a credit card to pay soo not sure if I'll be covered if this they never end up sending the product :/

Bought it on the 9/7 as well.

        • +1

I did pay by Paypal but your credit card should have chargeback option if you don't receive the item

          • @BlackorRed: Cheers for the update. Should've used PayPal 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yeah I'm with Bank Australia; they don't have a ChargeBack option :(

Just realized; actually purchased it on 7/7, got the 'shipped' update on 9/7 and the tracking no. says 'unknown' for sender and destination.

            • +1

@tojy: I thought all credit cards should have chargeback/dispute option, anyway you should be alright

        • FWIW my tracking came in under "Forty4-AU" but I couldn't find much info on this and at first thought it was some sort of scam.

Checking further into the email's source has some connection to it coming from Amazon, & I know I didn't buy this from Amazon.

          Strange!!

  • +3

just be aware that I have received a faulty one, it didn't hold charge, going to contact them for refund

    • Thanks, good to know. I'll check mine as soon (if it ever) arrives.

    • Ahh damn, that's really annoying!

Good luck with it though; I've emailed them several times and even tried to contact them on their web-page but they simply refuse reply :/

      • +1

ok, sounds like I'm going to lodge a dispute with them via Paypal

  • +1

Mine just arrived. Seems to be working fine out of the box. I'm surprised at the power it was just putting out. It's actually reasonably comparable to a can of compressed air and this is able to run for a longer duration without losing pressure or the can getting cold/spraying residue.

Oddly enough it did ship in an Amazon box. Thought it may be some kind of dropshipping scheme, but it was bought from the brand's website so I don't think it's dodgy.

Charging it to full battery now. Hopefully it holds charge and works for a while. First impressions are very good though. I like it.

    • Did you get the blue or black one? I purchased mine (blue) on 7/7 and on their website it says order status is "unfulfilled" and tracking number is not available.

      • +1

I ordered the black one on the same date. Mine says "Your order is confirmed - You’ll receive an email when your order is ready." I don't see any order status heading, but I assume that it's more-or-less the same thing as where mine says confirmed.

I didn't receive any email of shipping confirmation or any tracking number at all, it just arrived.

I'm not sure why yours says unfulfilled, seems a bit odd after almost a week.

      • Got my blue one today. Delivered from Amazon distribution centre Dandenong South

      • ordered the blue one 7/7, on it's way email 11/7, 4PX tracking detail says collected from Sydney airport today, 14/7

        • +2

Thanks, i got my tracking code today, from a company called Swiship (???), should arrive by monday. Not sure where it is coming from, but the tracking site looks a lot like amazon.

  • How is this different from Bigboi Blow that I use to dry my car. Just thinking if i could use the Bigboi one at low setting and away from the item so that the air pressure does not cause any damage. Yes, I know this is a good price, but trying to see if the gadgets I have now could be repurposed :-) Suggestion/Thoughts are welcome.

    • +1

Looks like it could work. I have ordered one of these, but haven't used it yet, so i'll talk from my experience with compressed air cans. The nozzle is much thinner/smaller in these ones, so it's easier to get to more narrow spaces, like between keys on a keyboard or fan blades. I also used to have a big blower a few years ago, which would be good for removing dust form my computer in general, but i would still have to go and do the detailed dusting with a can of compressed air. I think it;s not so much about the force of the blow, but rather how focused you can make it when cleaning electronics to remove dust from those little tight places.

      • Thanks

  • +1

Just got mine, also in an Amazon box yet the tracking shows 4PX and the package is still in China? Weird

  • +2

Echoing a lot of the new comments here, I've also just received mine in an Amazon box with tracking through 4PX oddly indicating otherwise. Also echoing CBrad's earlier sentiments, I'm pretty impressed! Not afraid to admit more than a few Shape's crumbs came flying out of my Kogan mechanical keyboard when I took the new toy for a spin. A bit of air escapes around the power button but it's a non-issue so long as the thing is still working in a year's time and that should be the real test.

One final note: For some reason, my unit came marked with black permanent marker in the middle of the yellow fan.. No complaints other than the weird black line!

  • I got mine delivered but its rechargeable not batteries

    • Why is that a problem?
The voltage from normal AA/AAA is too low to drive a motor like this.

      • Not a issue, was expecting it to be battery based on the name

        • You can break it open to see the 18650 batteries

  • Just have a concern.

Whilst charging the Indicator is Orange but after awhile the light turns off completely. Is this normal?

    • +3

Yes, the light turns off when it is fully charged. It's all good.

  • +1

    REceived from amazon.. nice,it's rechargeable..

  • +1

Got mine too, delivered by Auspost in an Amazon box. nice.

Works incredibly well, I'm very impressed with it!

  • I received a 4px number and then also an auspost tracking number which says it has been delivered at a completely different suburb.
I have emailed Opolar to see if they can confirm which number is correct

    • Good luck with that. I've been emailing them for the last 3 days with no answer whatsoever. I've even tried reaching out to them via instagram

      • Bugger.
If I don't hear from them in the next few days I'll lodge a case with PayPal

        • Yea, at least you got a tracking number. My order status still says "Unfulfilled" although i have been charged for it. How long does it take to get a refund via paypal? i am thinking on asking for a refund for this order and ordering a new one right away while the sale is still available.

          • +1

@pichxlonco: Im not too sure, i havent had to log one before via PayPal.
Hmm, tough decision, but if the payment has gone through you should still be locked in for an order once they do fulfil the order, but pretty poor experience that they have got back to you over the past few days

            • @thorpef1: i actually ordered this device for full price about 4-6 months ago from opolar nothing arrived for a long time(over a month) lodged a paypal case got my money back, 2 days later device arrives. win - win

  • for those who requested for a refund - have you received your refund?

    • +1

Refund requested 7/7, acknowledged by Opolar 9/7 - "The refund will arrive your account in 3-5 working days." (not there as yet)

    • anyone received a refund?

      • I lodged a PayPal Dispute yesterday and was automatically refunded within a few minutes

        • Nice, even though I have provided tracking information and everything, they still need more information from the seller sigh!

      • After this stuck for days now-

Put paypal dispute an got refunded in minutes.

    • I lodged a Paypal dispute last night.

      Refund came in today.

  • Didn't realise it was coming via Amazon. The tracking has it still coming from China, so was expecting it in a few weeks. Bonus!

  • +1

Received mine via Amazon AU, impressed with the quality. blown away

  • Ordered on 9th, have shipping info from 4px and no box from amazon yet.

    • I ordered on the 7th and only got it today, after not having a tracking code for days. Tracking code was received yesterday morning by sms, and it arrived today at noon.

      • Interesting, I have not seen tracking sms yet. Did yours arrive via amazon or another service?

        • +1

Via amazon, a service called swiship. I got the tracking number because, on the confirmation email, there was a blue button at the bottom with somethink like "view your order", and when i clicked on it, it took me to the opolar site and there was a little map in there with empty tracking, BUT there was a button bellow it about adding my mobile number to get SMS notifications.

          • @pichxlonco: From your experience of compressed air how is it?

            • @HairyChickens: It's good but not amazing. I feel that the fact that compressed air has a way smaller nozzle makes it have a harder force/blow. This device is pretty powerful, it was able to get rid of lots of things inside my keyboard but I'm not sure it'll be so easy for it to clean a laptop fan completely. I have yet to try it to clean my PlayStation 4, but for other things like during my drawers, books, shelves, TVs, etc it's been good.

  • anyone get it delivered by 4PX yet?

    • I got it this morning in a plain box. The label had express shipping from them on it (I didn't pay any extra for delivery). Tracking only shows it arrived in Australia. I ordered on the 8th.

  • I'm still waiting. the last shipping event was recorded on wednesday, with a status of Delayed. It's stuck in Regents Park,

  • +2

they fulfilled mine through amazon as well. was puzzled coz i wasn't expecting anything from amazon this month - but pleasant surprise nonetheless.

feels like a $50 device to me, wouldn't have paid rrp. the plastics used for the accessories felt cheap. as for blowing power goes, feels like a motorised lens blower not unlike a giotto. it's not bad but not can duster amazing. if you want a device that has a cleaning power of a lens blower and is motorized for a prolonged period of time, this is it.

    Here is my status:

2021-07-16 06:17SYD / Arrival of goods at destination airport
2021-07-16 06:17SYD / Arrived at the destination airport

  • This or Banggood 'Cordless Air Duster' from this link? Banggood one have more power it seems. wind speed seems considerably more than Opolar.(70 m/s vs 28 m/s). https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/636928

    any help?

    • They are currently on sale now again. I want to know the opolar one is 60000rpm but banggood one is only 45000, but banggood one is more powerful (70 m/s vs 28 m/s). How does this work?

      • You are getting confused with rpm and battery capacity. Read specs again carefully.

        • What is the date for your progressing through post network?

          • @htc: Looks like 16 July, the update did not show on the page until early yesterday morning

    • Starting to think if we all get the same tracking (same container) ending with 78YQ. Probably sitting in the amazon warehouse waiting for vendor to sort out.

      • Mine one is ending with 514yq

      • I received mine this morning.

4px, the website that Opolar referenced, showed my shipment stuck in "Arrived in Destination Facility".
I checked parcelsapp.com and to my surprise it said the item was delivered today at 11am by PFLogistics.
I live in an apartment building - I checked outside and there it was, just outside the common front door for anyone to steal it. Lucky for me, it was still there.
PFLogistics doesn't seem to have a good reputation, so my experience seems to be different from most others on this thread.
