            • @capslock janitor: If I have to explain it, it's not funny anymore…

rompastompa commented first. OP's name is Layla. "Life's pretty straight" is to reference two things, firstly that it's straight-hair due to their services, hence, no frizz. OP missed this joke. Pretty smart and funny, and a big "r/whoosh" that the joke went above their head.

The second reference is that straight means heterosexual, is that it is an adult joke, that Layla's services means people are something*something. Also a whoosh.

Don't choose a name that is too specific as it's hard to include other products and services in the future.

    • I was actually thinking about this .. I would love to expand if my business allows me To..

For example can’t really sell eyelashes if the business name is frizz free hair or frizz be gone!! Though I do appreciate everyone’s suggestions

Why is a business name so hard :/

      Any name suggestions

      • Try something more generic related to beauty for the business, and something more specific for the product/service.

      • He's right, came here to say this.

Your product name should be "Frizzleblaster5050" (obviously not) and your business name should be "Complete haircare solutions 42069" (obviously not)

if i ever start a business, i'm going straight to ozbargain forums for name ideas of the business AND products.

    • I am just missing the business name

      So hard :s

  • +1

While I don't have any good ideas, my advice is you're asking for a product name, not a business name.

Your business shouldn't be the name of your product, as it makes expansion into other products awkward.

    • This is correct…

  • SatinLuxe
    Glide/Glyde
    Sleek

  • your business name should be your name

  • Stainless steel hair!

  • Hair Therapy
    Straight Up Hair Care
    Wax on, Frizz off

    • Thank you for the suggestion but the last thing I want my name on the product :s

  • +1

I don't have any ideas (terrible with this… I'm in strategy and i can't ever even name a project haha).

Anyway, my advice is don't name your business after a product, in case you branch out / diversify, your branding won't help.

For example, so your current product/service is removing frizz, you call your product FrizzOff or something… but then you develop a product that gives curls or something… Curls by FrizzOff doesnt really work. People tend to know the product, not the company anyway.

In saying that, all of the above comments from others could work for the product name… so you're onto a winner anyway

    • ha, just scrolled up and saw @cheesebeans had the exact same advice. my bad!
