Nokia make solid phones (still). Absolutely worth and android one is glorious.

I didn't do the cooler upgrade but will do a front slimline fan and change the rear to a 92mm Noctua. Will report.

Doesn't seem right. Explain Gaming wasn't smooth.

Looking to add an old gpu for mining . Powered externally?

Nah the other 3070 are pushed via O.C. Or just simply better cards than this dell 2x fan one.

Look at the clocks on the top 100 vs my clocks. Filter it by Australia.

I have the XPS 8940. Runs a bit hot, smashes everything I've got at 2K ultra. If it throttles it's not noticeable in (my) gaming. Think...

Check the other threads on that model. Ram is Hynix. I got a WD SSD.

If you're at all confident, try removing and re-seating the gpu.

What fixes have you tried?

Try [This thread](https://www.dell.com/community/XPS-Desktops/XPS-8940-memory-upgrade-of-2x8GB/td-p/7779679)

I thought even the beta is broken for 3000 series cards. Did they fix it?

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/xps-8940 - Dunno if this helps.

Bit short on storage but upgrade friendly. Decent PSU. Nice soundcard.

Whats it run at on those sticks alone? Internet reckons any non-OEM will default to lower speeds than the included Hynix.

I'd prefer yours for a number of reasons. Would be pretty bloody capable at 2k.

Hmm, thanks. What are you using to run higher frequencies on the GPU?

[My Benchmark](http://www.3dmark.com/spy/17187647) Not great, probably due to CPU throttling from heat. GPU doesn't seem to be firing on...

Anyone able to get MSI afterburner to scan/oc properly? My scans always fail with a code 3 error...

oh the plastic bit?

Remove the front panel?
