Not the cheapest they have been but I thought I would share. Possibly Amazon is price matching another retailer.

Seems like a pretty standard price

Same as Catch and can use 15% off gift card: https://www.catch.com.au/product/nintendo-switch-joy-con-pai…

    • Although technically the neon red and blue are a Club Catch exclusive (easy enough to sign up to).
Otherwise you could also use the $15 off $60 spend Latitude Pay discount. 👍

  • Anyone seen the grey or purple and yellow for cheap at all? Ideally the grey. Can’t stand the neon.

  • I'd only buy joycons new now if they drop to this price.

    Unless they are limited editions

  • I still balk at buying replacement joycons. I have two sets, the originals and their replacements, and both have AWFUL drift that makes them unusable. The two pro controllers I have, on the other hand, still seem fine - so far - and they get pretty intense use from my son.

The only game we have that the pro controllers can't be used for is Just Dance, and I can't bring myself to spend $90-100 on a third set of controllers for just that game, when they'll inevitably have the same problem down the line.

Anyone heard what has happened, if anything, with the many class actions against Nintendo re controller drift? https://www.ign.com/articles/all-the-lawsuits-nintendo-is-fa…

    • Can't you use a phone for just dance? The joy cons are absolutely terrible for just dance anyway.

      • Technically yes, but having seen my kids use the Nintendo controllers while playing Just Dance, I'm not sure I want to entrust our expensive phone to them! At least the joy cons have the option of a wrist strap. :)
