Grabbed this review from the last deal.

Personal review as i have one of these.

Battery life is fantastic, will last the 10 days.
When phone calls come in you can decline them, but not answer them.
Screen movement is a little slow
Does count steps and have custom modes for gym and running.
Comfy to wear, not to bad, does pinch abit if you have hair on your arms.
Suitable for smaller wrists as the screen isnt very large.
Able to read text messages to come in, not as great, but you can see them.
Able to read facebook notification and it does vibrate when a message comes in.
You will need to turn off heaps of notifications from the app for the first time when you get it , and set that up correctly.
A few face's for the watch to choose from, which is pretty good.

      • I bought this to track my sleeping as I'm sleeping with my 6 month old and wanted to know my sleep quality, it's pretty crap for that lol, but I didn't expect great things for $40 I guess

There's a great website called www.wareable.com if your after a sports/ smart watch that does a specific thing. I've purchased a few watches on their recommendations and they have been brilliant. The best sleep tracker I had was the Jawbone Up. They're not around anymore. I now have a Garmin Fenix 5. Not the best in-depth sleep tracker but it's ok.
There's a really cool app called Sleep Cycle. You lay the phone on your bed as you sleep and it records your movements. That comes up with some great sleep data. I use to use it years ago. No wonder I'd wake up exhausted when I'd toss and turn in bed all night

      • Does it have any other training modes? Does it have location with a phones GPS?

EDIT : just saw the previous post seems to have what I need. How does the connected GPS fare and the sports tracking? I want to see how it goes tracking runs and rides for Strava.

      • Cheers for the review - can you easily control music with it - ie quick swipe and bring it up?

      • Doesnt have a gym training unfortunately, would of been nice

    • Don’t have one, but the advertising pictures/videos seems to show much less of a gap between outer watch and screen compared to what I’ve noticed in YouTube unboxing/reviews.

    • Considering their products are still listed, maybe the reviews are a little more legit?

Taotronics and Ravpower (well all brands by Sunvalley) as well as Aukey recently got booted for soliciting positive reviews.

Then again, maybe they just haven't got caught out yet…

Spundpeat’s has incentives for positive reviews though. 40-50% off next purchase.

  • I had one and returned it after a week, as it stopped automatically turning the screen on when I flicked my wrist up, which meant I missed seeing my messages when they came in. It also didn't track my sleep.

Battery life was pretty good though, if you just want it to count steps.
