  • wish this came out on psplus

    • +3

I wish every game that comes out also on ps plus

  • +2

still triggered that this didn't have an upgrade from ps4

  • +4

How do you do free shipping? Seems to only be for ebayplus.

  • +1

Probably a matter of time before it comes to gamepass.

    • +7

So don’t ever buy a game in the hope of it coming to a subscription service?

      • All the Yakuza games are on there already. If you haven't played them yet, then play them.

By the time you finish them, Judgement will have been added to game pass. I bought the entire Yakuza series on ps4 when there was a sale and I'm just up to 3 now.

        • -4

I know - I have Game Pass. Yakuza games ARE in GP right now. Judgment is not. You’re making a really weird argument here and highlighting my original point.

          • -1

@aja12: You're entirely right, it's more reinforcing that it inevitably will come to game pass.

      • +1

It's heavily rumoured to be coming to gamepass soon which might be why it's on sale.

      • works for me

      • -1

Not like it's new? If you haven't bought it yet. probably won't care in waiting a little longer for it to come to Xbox Gamepass

    • +1

I’m sure in 10 years time all of the games now will eventually be on gamepass

      • +5

And likely all of them left gamepass too. Games doesn't stay forever in gamepass.a

/set reminder 18/07/2031. 'Take the day off'

        • 18/07/2031 - Why did I take this day off again?

    • +2

IMO given that it's not already there and the reason why it's not on PC and why the series is ending, it may never come to gamepass.

    • I doubt it will come to gamepass due to the agency that manages Takuya Kimura having a less than favourable track record with online services (the agency has avoided online music sales of all their content producers). Judgement also has not made it PC via online stores due to this same issue, therefore unless the stance of the agency changes, the game will not be made to Gamepass.

TL;DR Judgement and the sequel will not come to Gamepass.

    • Yakuza is my one franchise I buy the super duper editions as soon as they are available it’s my fav franchise which I own all possible versions over 4 generations and 3 platforms. Always got to support RGG

    • Yeah all other Yakuza games are on gamepass this will be there very soon im guessing. No point in getting it right now

  • +2

Really fun main storyline. I couldn't get into Yakuza, but this one has turned me around on the series. The friends system and side quests are also good. I think the slightly more serious tone overall is more my thing.

    • +1

Yakuza (and even Judgement) are great games, but its so dense it takes a long time to invest.
There is something about the melodrama and gameplay that requires a lot of commitment to get through, but very worth it tbh.
But a series so jam-packed with side content, you end up losing track and never finishing the main story XD

    Judging the lacking E

    • +1

Pretty sure it's spelled with no E.

      • +1

Not in Australia, it's Judgement here. In America yes.

        • The word, typically, yes. But this game is just "Judgment"

          • @kensaiD: That's fine, I was just clearing up the no "E" comment.
I unfortunately missed out on it. But of a shame as I could have got it for $34.20
It became available again. So picked it up

  • +3

Been spoiled by next day delivery and need Amazon price match lol

    • Why support amazon over an Aussie business

      • +2

Ah, EB Games is American owned.

        • +1

They still employ Australian workers, Amazon on the other hand exploit their workers

          • +1

@Griffindinho: Amazon exploit their workers here too? Source on that?

          • @Griffindinho:

They still employ Australian workers, Amazon on the other hand exploit their workers

Evidence? There’s plenty of stories of Australia EB employees being “exploited” too - expected to work unpaid overtime, excessively long hour, underpaid etc.

            • @aja12: At least they don’t have to pee in buckets. Haha

              • @Griffindinho:

At least they don’t have to pee in buckets. Haha

True, all EB Games was subject of were allegations of racism, homophobic slurs, bullying, gross mismanagement and mistreatment of children as young as 14.

                • @aja12: Yeah majoirty retail or factory workplaces aren’t ethical. Haven’t heard such reports at JB HI-FI. But wouldn’t surprise me if something similar has happened there.

  • eBay stock is gone for PS5 version :(

  • Ah yes the memories with yakuza series..$$$ goes to all the hostess, online chats and dates.

    Subarashii!

  • It's available again on eBay.

  • +1

wtf is with eb games delivery bs, 44 for 3 games lmao thats dumb as shit

    • It's ridiculously expensive. EB does have good sales from time to time but sometimes I'm about to pull the trigger then find out delivery is $15 or something which no longer makes the sale a bargain.

    • It gets mentioned a lot but new information for new people!

      If it's being sent from a store, it's $15.

If it's being sent from the warehouse, it's $5.95.

What might of happened with you is each game was shipping from a different store, it's not that unusual with their sales, as stock for popular items is usually gone quick from local pick-ups and all that's left is the stores way out of town.

  • has anyone tried eb games installment thing? seems like afterpay without the external account

  • Great post, managed to pick this up yesterday from EB. Have the entire Yakuza collection on Steam and would have preferred to have it on PC but doesn't look like it's going to happen thanks to Stadia so will settle with the PS5 one. Now I am complete and looking forward to getting stuck into this one. Thanks OP.
