  • Is it worth upgrading from V2 ?

    • +9

The main differences compared to the V2 are:
      1) V3 utilizes just a single USB-C connection for both audio and power
      2) It has Bluetooth 5.0, so you can easily stream your favourite songs wirelessly
      3) It features Clear Dialog audio processing that picks up vocals (from both calls/movies) to give you rich and clear dialogs, so u can hear every word without sacrificing any ambient sound effects.
      4) Slightly larger 2.25" full-ranger drivers

      Hope this helps!

Not sure about V2, These do have bluetooth as well, and bigger drivers from memory.
however have the V3 and they are fantastic!
You get more bass at higher volumes and definitely helps using USB-C or plug in wall.
They are small enough to not be a nuisance on the desk too.

    • Why not do your own research? ;)

      • I do, but it has copyright protection.

is this good for rock music

    • +1

These sorts of full range drivers are often pretty good for rock; since rock is usually very mid focused.

Highs might not be super clear, and bass might be a bit lacking; but rock doesnt demand for huge levels of either, so i think you'll be set.

Compared to say most EDM, which these struggle with.

nice review, but u clearly missed the dad joke.

        …pebble…

        • +1

          Thanks I would have too

        • Oh, pebble.

I would have expected a joke about having a hard time wearing it on your wrist.

Im gonna need this to be in all white

We hear you! Will feedback to the product team :)

  • Is there much of an advantage to have the subwoofer with the Pebble Plus version or does V3 have enough bass? Unsure which one to go for…

    • +1

Even with the plus 5v 2amp is really not enough power to make much of an oomph. It's great for the price, but still in the meh range of audio. ( I use the V3, they are ok )

    • +1

I also have the V3 and they are nice and super handy and aesthetically pleasing. Looking back I should’ve probably got the v2 with the Sub as I just don’t take advantage of the Bluetooth aspect, and a little extra rumble in the jungle would be nice.

Having said that, these are great for their price range & still glad I bought them (:

  • Is there a power adapter bundle available?

    • no power adapter available however you only require the wall socket. cable and adapter provided.
      Cheers

    • Cable & USB to USB-C adapter is included, but not the wall Socket. Last time I checked they sold a wall socket separately you can use, although I’m sure you’d have some around the house to use instead (:

  • What if my computer hasn't got a typc C?

    • For those with USB-A devices, fret not! We've included a USB-C to USB-A converter so you can get started immediately as well.

    • should be able to connect via 3.5mm. However to get the added power you would then need to connect to wall outlet.

      • So if the main recommended source of sound and power is USB-C and if for whatever reason you needed added power and hook up to an external power brick (via USB-C), im guessing then the only available inputs would be AUX or Bluetooth ? is that correct ? have i got it right ?

        • If you’re connecting to USB-c then it should already be playing at max power. It indicates this via solid blue light on speaker.

Hmm will there be a Plus version of the V3? (V3 speakers with subwoofer)

  • How long will this price be? Wife needs a new pair of small speakers and these fit the bill.

  • Does it come with a protective case or pouch to carry around?

    • +1

      no

  • Are these compatible with my pet rock?

  • Thanks OP. Was just struggling through home learning with an underpowered laptop onboard speaker today - perfect timing.

    Have ordered 2.

  • Anyone figured out how the newsletter / referral credit works? I signed up yesterday but haven't got any emails from creative

  • Would these sound better than a Bose Soundlink Mini?

    • Yes, I made this upgrade. Much better and a lot louder.

  • Avoid these. Sound quality is tinny, all the treble is missing and they are no better than laptop speakers from my macbook.

Emailed them about a return and they said they don't do returns for change of mind. Not worth the $60 paid.
