I have studied some basic programming (C++ and Java) in my university but never got around to website development. I do want to design a website and have some questions if someone could help me:
    * Are the coding languages considerably different from C++ and Java?
    * Which language do I start with? Which languages should I learn if I want a fully functional website with a good design?
    * Is front end the design aspect and backend the website functionality?
    * How do I host a website? Do we first buy a domain name (from Godaddy for example), then buy a hosting service? Don't really get this concept. Where do I code (or deploy the code) in this case?
    * Can I host my website on a Rasberry Pi 4?
    * Is there a course that can help me from A-Z of what I've asked above

    • The last one above goes through all you need to know for a basic site.

  • Can people please STOP posting repeats of these courses… they are free for a reason, because they are usually low quality /crappy BS. cheers

    • So, as an example, take the first course: 153000 students, 1475 reviews, rated 4.4 out of 5.
Do you reckon that is all fake?
Also, even the "non-human" poster on this site has stated he learned making his bots after doing one of the Udemy course - going by that it seems to me that some of these courses work very well.
