Free Return Flight with Purchase of Insurance from iSelect

70

When you purchase private health cover through Iselect, they will give you a free return flight including all taxes and surcharges. There are loads of terms and conditions so read them carefully.

I quickly put some details in for the cheapest coverage without hospital cover and the policy starts at $30 a month. Now, to be eligible for the free flight you must not cancel within 30 days. If someone is looking to sign up for health insurance then this maybe a good deal

  • Seems decent, anyone tempted to cancel after 30 days? :)

    • I'm just reading through the terms and conditions and you need to pay a month in advance. So if you used the account for 31 days then you would need to pay for 2 months @ minimum $60. Still good value for a flight.

  • can you have 2 insurances, currently with a health insurance company which i want to stay with and not change to the iselect one, then change back. are you able to get this $30 insurance one just for the flight, and have 2 on record, the cancel after the 1 month

    • Yep, there is a seperate form if you want to cancel and transfer your fund to Iselect's choice. Just make sure you don't fill in the tax rebate twice and you should be alright. Also, don't claim anything on the new insurance that you have claimed with the other.

*I'm no expert by any means, its just my guess.
