    You're Fired!

How ironic. This apprentice didn't make it beyond 1st term.

    • +1

This apprentice didn't make it beyond 1st term.

The "show" is still running, and I would not rule out a return next season. Or at least a lot of damage in the casting process.

    • Did you know that Trump's Twitter password was you're fired!

  • Thanks OP.

    • Both books should be interesting reads, from people who definitely can be considered "insiders" in the different areas they write about.

      • +10

        Can't say I agree.
I don't think any of my nieces has the first clue about me - and certainly not enough to fill a book with anything but opinion and speculation.

        • +5

Depends on how close families are. I can certainly say that my US part of the family is very close and do a lot together. They do know virtually everything about each other. So I can see how she can know those things.
Of course this does not apply to every family but it is plausible and reasonable to me as I have experienced it myself when living in the US.

            @Lysander: Op
As said below, she hasn't been around DT for 30 years
30 years ago, trump was an American icon.
She doesn't know shit about trump and just wanted fame/money and gullible fools like you swallow it up.

The Bolton book on the other hand could be worthwhile reading but comments below suggest otherwise

            • @mick123: The Bolton book is an essential primary source for political and historie junkies.

The rest of us may want to read the CliffsNotes:

              • Trump did not know whether or not Finland is a part of Russia.[11]
              • Bolton confirmed the central accusation of Trump's first impeachment that he withheld aid to Ukraine in an attempt to pressure the Ukrainian government into announcing an investigation into Democrats, Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.[23]
              • Trump was unaware that the United Kingdom is a nuclear power.[11]

@bargaino: What's wrong with withholding aide from Ukraine for something in return ie a quid pro quo? Biden did it and nobody could care less https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UXA--dj2-CY

                • +2

@unity1: You seriously don't understand why the alleged actions were very wrong??

Nobody ever made a coherent argument that needs a youtube link.

        • +7

Well your nieces aren't Trump's nieces. And she doesn't have to personally know everything about Trump she can know stuff from other family members. Kind of the advantage of being a member of the family.

  • +6

    Rubbish propaganda..

    • +5

      What Trump? Absolutely.

    • +3

Looking forward to you providing the evidence.

Care too elaborate? Don't struggle to think too hard now, you might do yourself an injury

Mary Trump "the insider" sold 1.2 million books to idiots who want to feed their hunger for hate for Donald Trump. Regardless whether she's full of it, she made bank.

    • -2

Or to people looking to get an insiders look on an incompetent fraud.

    • +1

Your getting downvoted for something which is true. Mary trump has not been around Trump since the early 90's and made good $ off this book. Not saying I defend Trump or her but facts are facts this is his nice that barley knew him… anyone buying this deserves to lose their money, their is better books our there on trump

Read half of "The Room Where It Happened: A White House Memoir" and skimmed through the rest of the book. John Bolton is a self-publicist who raves about himself and rants continuously about everyone else.

    • +1

I wonder who he learned that from. ;-)

  • A comment that a lot of the late show pundits make whenever a new book like this comes out is, "thanks for telling us after it's too late."

    • +1

Who would listen before the fact though.

  • Is in coming back for another crack?
Will the current pensioner still be alive till then?
Suss that he got voted out, something going on there?

    • +1

I’d say Trump is a pensioner too and getting on a bit but nowhere near as bad as the current one https://youtu.be/mSiJy3kJzPg

      • oh that’s sad.

      • +3

that's just sky news, one hour town hall and sky picks out 15 seconds, and plays a bunch of twitter comments the rest of the time. The former guy would have just lied for the whole hour. Except he wouldn't do a 1 hour town hall in the first place. He just call into Fox n Friends and say there was no virus.

        • +1

dude, Biden is an imbecile, he speaks nonsense cause he has no idea what day it is. Stuff like this is all over youtube, the main stream media fawn over him and won't play any of it cause it makes him look like the fool he is. If Trump did one thing like this bloke does every time he opens his mouth they'd have him doing cognitive tests every 5 minutes.

          • +2

@benaud: Even if its true, still better than the former guy. Former guy was a evil grifter.

          • +2

@benaud: Oh you mean when he randomly inserted the word oranges? Or that time he called Tim Cook "Tim Apple"?
            https://youtu.be/Rqusg5iDIwc
What about when he suggested injecting bleach to kill covid. Because you know bleach kills germs. You ask yourself whats the rationale in linking bleach to something that can be put into our body. If this makes sense to you then sure Biden's the imbecile and Trump is a genuis.

    • -1

Yes very "suss". I heard it was an inside job orchestrated by cuba.

  • +1

Wonder how many of the publishers of books about Trump told the authors to pump it up a bit to sell more copies, 100%?.

  • +1

As an antidote to the trash that’s being recommended here (thinly disguised as bargains), I recommend “Management of savagery” and “Devil’s chessboard”

Trump trashed US democracy and incited a mob to undertake a deadly attack on the Capitol. The only reason he wasn’t impeached was because the GOP can’t afford to lose his, deluded, base. The election results were endorsed by court case after court case showing there was no systematic electoral fraud. In fact the cases of fraud they did find were, overwhelmingly, GOP voters.

Trump has set a good example for Tinpot dictators around the world. So much for the beacon of democracy.

It will be interesting to see the effect that Covid has on the Trump heartland. The virus will drive a monster truck through the anti vaxxers.

  • +1

Did you hear the news about Donald Trump's new relationship? It's with his right hand - though experts have been quick to point out that the relationship is doomed to fail as his right hand often has difficulty finding it's tiny partner 🤣

    • +1

Small hands, though. I, suspect, Melania will be heading toward the exit sign, soon.
