Good deal. Watch Parasite if you can't decide.

And watch Parasite without reading up/ knowing beforehand.

I’ve watched so many reviews about it…

Absolutely wonderful film, on so many levels, I think it's a masterpiece.

I feel sorry for a couple friends of mine who seem a little slow with reading subtitles. "I wish I could have just watched it instead of reading it".

I just wish I spoke Korean, I bet it's even funnier.

    Shoplifters is wholesome

and IMO way, way better than Parasite. Bar the extremely well done flood scene cannot understand the overwhelming enthusiam for P.

One film…why would you bother, free may be free but……

    Which one is the best?

I'd say Parasite is the pick of the bunch, although Shoplifters and Portrait of a Lady on Fire are pretty good too!

They should also stage Revolution of Our Times for free, that is a disappointment!!

Would love to watch this too!!

    Titane, pls.

La Haine is worth watching too if you've already seen parasite.

    •

Seconded! Very sad that it has just passed its 25th anniversary and is still relevant today.

Out of all these, "Shoplifters" and "Russian Ark" would be the hardest to catch on streaming platforms.
The rest have and will eventually make their way to Mubi.

For a moment I thought this allowed streaming of the 2021 nominees. Thought it was too good to be true!

Any movies suitable for a 11 year old in this list?

Portrait of a Lady on Fire is highly recommended too.
