cue someone whinging that you need a membership to costco to buy

      • Add the cost of membership ($55) and I could have bought a 1TB drive for that!!!!
Sheesh. You call this a bargain??!???!111
        (I had to say it)…

Although, if you buy at costco, you've got a lifetime warranty on any items. (as long as your membership stays valid.)
I returned a set of keyring tools a bit over a year after purchase for full refund because part of one of them went a bit wonky.

        • wait what? lifetime warranty?

Damn good deal for stocking up few flashes, only if Costco was in Brisbane.

Incredible - what a price!0.67 cents a gig + you get three so you can replace the ones you keep losing
Godammit - COME TO BRISBANE PLOX!!!!

  • good thing im heading there this weekend… hope theres some stock left :)

    12 minutes 30 seconds to transfer a 1080p 50 minute video file?

To compare, my flash drive would be finished in <3 minutes.

And my flash drive isn't exactly crazy fast.

    Yeesh.

    • +1

      and your flash drive cost……????

for 90% of the people going to buy these ones, i doubt a couple minutes is going to matter, and for the most people, you wont notice the difference transferring a word document/image/song

  • Wow DSE had 3pk 4GB Sandisk for $14 two weeks ago, and I though that was great. The CostCo offer of 3x8GB for $16 is way better. Pity about the CostCo membership fee.

  • can you simply print off the pdf and use it as a voucher??

    • Err.. don't they just hand you the vouchers at the entrance? From my experience at Costco, they don't even look at the vouchers at the checkout.

    • These are not even vouchers. Products are automatically discounted.

Negative vote from me. We had 16GB sticks for $5 just this week. I'd hardly consider an increase in price a "bargain".

    • +2

Where were these $5 16GB sticks?

    • +1

Do you have the 16GB sticks for $5 link?
I'm interested if they still have it available.

Sold out, the $5 still required you to pay the full price first and if you had bought anything from SS in the past week ebay wouldn't let you buy one of these.

24Gb in sticks for $16 is a bargain.

    Also, membership.

    • +2

Membership is something alot of people have theses days. Besides, you can get a full refund after 364 days which I'm going to class as a "rebate" here.

    • I was told by Costco that members can cancel their membership and get a full refund within the membership year. No reason required ("I'm not happy with it" is enough.) Of course, you won't be welcomed to rejoin the program for a period of time (a year I believe) once you've cancelled your membership. (But this does not restrict your family from being a member.)

      • Yes, but those of us with dignity and morals would find that unethical, you morally bankrupt drain.

  • Geez thats cheap

  • picked these up tonight - good stuff!
