    Thanks, got myself one, looks like there's a few left.

      is this like a regular keyboard?

      • +2

        It's a midi keyboard so you'll have to connect it to a computer to get any sound (I'm pretty sure)

    wait dont these guys make kebabs

    • +2

      No, you're thinking of the recently departed film maker responsible for hits such as The Omen, Goonies, and Lethal Weapon.

      • +1

        No, that's Richard Donner. You're thinking of a person who donates something.

        • +1

          Pfft, a Donner is an important Italian woman. You must be confused.

    They have a few in white, thank batkav I bought one in black with the $10 off new customer code ( took about an hour after abandoning the cart to get it in my email )

    • Is this a generic new customer code? Mine hasn't arrived yet and I can't find any way to trigger it…

      • +1

        I got 10% off as the above poster described. The code is AU10

        I tried AU15 and AU20 to no avail…

        • +1

          But what about AU25?

          • @batkav: I am handing in my OzBadge and OzBargun…

            Also, thanks OP, at 65ish dollars I picked up a white one!

    I think I want one of these, but I don't know where to start. Is this similar in concept to this GarageBand tutorial, but with an actual keyboard, instead of a touchscreen keyboard? i.e. you can sequence tracks, play the drum pads and keys etc?

    I feel like for $60 delivered, this could be my gateway to global doof domination.

    • It's also 10% off storewide at the moment (not sure if it includes already discounted items). But as I said, if you put into your cart, sign up, then disappear, they may send you an email with 10% off. Global Doof Domination is only an email away bruv!

      • Ha, well I have already started by buying a white one, using the 10% off abandoned cart trick.

        My question was about the next part after that. I need a DAW product, right? Eg Cakewalk?

        Then I'll need to learn how to use the controller and the DAW? YouTube tutorials for this post I guess?

        Then I'll need to produce some tunes that are listenable (the hard part).

        Steep learning curve is steep.

        • Suggest that you google "free DAW", there are lots and lots, and mostly they are really good, some are excellent, and the learning curves are mostly not too steep. If you can afford US$60 buy Reaper - fully featured and professional level with a fairly steep learning curve but there is mountains of help available online through all the usual tutorials and channels. Worth every cent IMHO. Good luck.

          • @hoverboardrider: Ya, hence my Cakewalk comment. I've seen Reaper mentioned around the traps, I will check it out.

  • White one still has 64 units in stock 9.45pm Wed 28th July, dump from the cart and you will eventually get a 10% discount code - AU10 code for me, however it took hours to arrive in my inbox. I saw the code online and tried it previously, however the code only worked after I got it via email not before - so might be checked against your email address or something by the seller? Weird. With discount it is $64.35 delivered which is an absolute bargain judging by the detailed reviews and demos on YouTube. I think this is gonna be a very fun little piece of gear for <$65. Absolute bargain. Thanks OP! Cheers.

  • From the product page: "Hot blue flames coming out of the air- touch bar"

  • I got mine during the week, only just had a chance to open it up. If you haven't seen it yet, there is a download section on one of the Donner sites for the DMK-25;

    https://www.donnerdeal.com/pages/download

    There's a download for DMK25 Editor - which according to the included help.pdf;

    The DMK25 editor software gives you a visual and intuitive way to edit the various MIDI messages that DMK25 mini's controls send to your computer.

    There also looks like there's a firmware update utility included - I haven't looked at it though.
