    asks for trade license?

    • +4

      now a technical problem

    • +1

Site says "What you’ll need to register your organisation - a copy of the organisation’s trade licence (if applicable)." May not be applicable for your ABN?

      • +1

I put in my company registration certificate

  • +1

I applied and uploaded a pdf of a ABN, lets see if it works

  • +2

How long before the points hit your account?

    • +1

No idea, it's sitting at zero for now

  • +2

I keep getting this error - is anyone else?

Sorry, we have a technical problem at the moment. Please try again later or call your local Emirates office for help.

    • +1

      Same. On mobile.

    • I signed up (without promotion code) then sent an account query stating promotional code not working when I signed up, posted details below

  • +4

They once ran a competition on facebook with the prize of a trip around the world, and then deleted all the entries and never mentioned it again. When I complained, they deleted my posts.

    • Wondering during covid or before covid situation the competition ran?

      • +1

this was about 5 years ago, it was done by whoever was in charge of their facebook page., may not even work there anymore, who knows

  • +1

    Following

  • +2

Applied with a sole trader ABN, fingers crossed for the points.

  • So question any costs signing up? As I do have an ABN 👍😁

  • +1

Does 10000 get you anything without an additional purchase?

    • +2

Have a read on Emirates website, states 10,000 points enough points to Christchurch, New Zeland and return trip back, guessing New Zealand as its the only place us Ozzie's can travel to at the moment, we'll some states at the moment, go Victoria lockdown and feeling the pain NSW👍😁🤣

  • +1

It's now giving an error this promotional code is not available any more.

    • Dam I missed out gonna try now, be right back with results 👍

Edit: yupz code ain't working for me too, maybe a temporarily glitch maybe fix itself later or today was the deadline 🤣

    • +1

Had the same "Sorry, this promotional code is no longer valid."

    • +1

      Same here… :(

      • +1

Same, I think it says by the 27th of July so expired now.

        • No harm trying what I did below by sending an account query about the promotional code not working first you need to sign up a business rewards account, maybe do later in day and try doing first the way OP has described first as could be just a glitch

So has this worked for anyone at all? and 10,000 points rewards showing in there account?

  • +2

I decided to set up an Emirates business account without using the promotion code, signup was successful but the email verification code is not being sent to my email account and I tried twice, just maybe there system has issues hope why the promotion code is not working, one can only hope and everything will work later in the day

Edit: now were does one enter the promotion code after signing up for an Emirates business account?

Another way too signup as from the travel hack site

"""That said, if you have an existing Skywards account, you can sign up for the Business Rewards Account using the same login details which pre-populates most of the information. It’s free and took me just 2-3 minutes to """

EDIT AGAIN: signed up (without promotion code as I said above) spoke to help chat and below what they told me to do

""You will need to submit your query here https://www.emirates.com/english/help/forms/account-query/ and one of the specialist will be in touch with you"".

PS: sent a query hopefully they can fix and add the promotion manually well can't hurt trying 👍😁

    • +1

Thanks … submitted complain on this link … was so difficult to find where to complain.

  • -1

Trying it now and keep getting this:
Sorry, we have a technical problem at the moment. Please try again later.

  • +1

    Now I'm getting this:
Sorry, this promotional code is no longer valid.

  • +1

I did live chat and they said to lodge a complaint via this link:

    https://www.emirates.com/ae/english/help/forms/account-query…

  • Lodge a complaint everyone maybe the more of us that do a complaint maybe better chance they'll do something about it

  • -1

When i click the link recieved in email to activate it says Sorry, an error occurred while your request was being processed. Please try again using the link you received or call your local Emirates office for help.

    Anyone received points yet ?

  • +2

Created an account with the promo code anc I can confirm that the deal has not expired yet. Still waiting for the points though

  • Yeah continue from my above post

Emirates help replied by email and told me to delete my Business Rewards Account and signup again using promo code

Seemed to work this time with no errors with code and also I replied back to Emirates help to confirm the promo code has been entered at signup by me and thanked them

Yes but waiting for points to appear 👍

Edit: I used this link for Business Rewards registration, 3rd page is were you enter promo code,..
    https://www.emirates.com/english/business-rewards/registrati…?

    • +1

How do you delete your account and do you think they did something to your account to enable the promo code to work again?

      • Took me forever to find the delete account button and I think as people above the site started accepting the promotional code or it could have been that I navigated starting a new account navigating from there website, not the link OP provided which is a promotional link

  • +1

Here's the email I got about the promo code not working :

Does anyone have the error screenshot they could share

  • +1

Emirates are taking some time in replying me, seems they replied the other ozb faster

  • A pain to find or navigate from the Skywards page to my business rewards account,.. well here is link to save others the headache,.. Business Rewards Dashboard
    https://www.emirates.com/account/au/english/business-rewards…

And I don't believe it there is 10,000 reward points in my business rewards account, with a 2 year expiry on points, will expire on the 31st July 2023, now all I need is money for the trip, prefably a job first, a new passport and this stupid covid to go away, don't think it matters which order also

    Screenshot of points,.. https://ibb.co/J50k5mJ

    • +1

Thanks for this but I'm still having issues. When I signed up for Business Rewards it recognised my email address and linked it to my Skywards account.

Even though I've got a different business rewards account number, logging in still only takes me to Skywards.

I don't see any way to login directly to Business Rewards (I never got a separate account or password).

I did get a Welcome to Business Rewards email and the account number.

      • The email they sent you should be to confirm your email/account (I think as deleted the emails)

I actually signed up for Skywards first and then when registering for Business Rewards account it used my details from my Skywards account

Can you log into your Business Rewards Account using this link below,..
        https://www.emirates.com/account/au/english/business-rewards…

Important when using above link,. you need to be in desktop view from a mobile browser or better use your computer web browser to login/view, won't work from a mobile browser will just loop back to your Skywards account

Honestly can't remember about the login/passwords I'm sure there both the same, probably login in to Skywards first then use above link to head to your Business Rewards account

Or try using the dashboard link for Business Rewards yeah there site is a pain to get to the Business Rewards Dashboard/portal,..
        https://www.emirates.com/account/au/english/business-rewards…

Whoops both links above are the same, hard to see from my mobile phone, they should take you to the Business portal

        • +1

Yeah I tried all of the above on phone and desktop, both logging in to Skywards first and also logged out.

I also tried the "Login to Business Rewards" link inside Skywards - it just loops back. Driving me nuts.

"The email they sent you should be to confirm your email/account (I think as deleted the emails)"

I got two - one to confirm the account and one "Welcome to Business Rewards" with a my BR number and a login button - again just takes me to Skywards.

I had an existing Skywards account and when signing up for BR it recognised this and asked me to link accounts, I think this is where it goes wrong, better to leave them unlinked if possible. I'd rather just have separate logins and passwords than the current crap.

I tried login with the new BR number and the forgotten password/setup option - it just gave an error and told me to contact them.

I've now documented all of this and sent it on a contact form.

          • @gadgetguy: Okay tried just for you by logging into my business rewards account from a completely different browser, actually Firefox focus from my mobile in default mobile view but used this link basically a cut down of my other links
            https://www.emirates.com/account/au/english/business-rewards…

Seems to go straight to business account showing my 10k rewards page straight away, yeah they have an annoying website, both my logins are the same for Skywards and business rewards and I'm sure there linked not that I remember linking them, suggest you try a clean browser cleared of all cookies, data, passwords etc I have multiple browsers in my mobile, Firefox focus is great clears all cookies etc when exiting

Above link again missing www.emirates part, hopefully you can see the link fully to make sure you get to copy exactly the same link,..
            ""com/account/au/english/business-rewards/""

@Italkdigital: I appreciate your help. I just installed Firefox and used it vanilla with your URL. It worked!

I did have to login to my Skywards account first. Then tried the URL in another tab. Thanks for your help.

Next issue, no points in my account :-(

              [EDIT]

I went into Chrome and deleted all Emirates cookies and signed in again. This time when it asked me to accept cookies i turned them all off except "essential" and it now works in Chrome too.

              • @gadgetguy: 10K points I think took 2 days to show up for me, glad your able to login 👍😁

Edit: you could message them just to ask if the code was applied when you signed up for business rewards (which I did) and just a query how long do points take to arrive, then at least if they don't at the time they suggest then message them and get them to fix it, if its possible for them to fix, though still worth the effort for a return trip to New Zealand 😁

                • +1

@Italkdigital: I did ask this question on my message about not being able to access the site. I'll wait and see their response.

If not I'll follow up again.

I'm going to maintain a vanilla Firefox for this sort of crap and possibly Cashrewards, where everything works except amazon.

                  • @gadgetguy: Suggest follow-up anyway with the question if the code shows entered at signup as that's the most important part to gain the points, start your question you've managed to login and ask was code applied as you don't see points as yet as you know others have successfully received there points, my replies were the next business day why best try again with them or you'll be waiting on your first attempt

Edit: Amazon for me has always been hit and miss for both cashrewards and shopback

                    • +1

                      @Italkdigital: Got a reply:

"Once you log in to your Skywards account, you will see the icon with your name at the right top corner of the screen. Click on it and you will see two options: for Skywards "My Account" and for the Business Rewards "View Business Rewards". Click on "The Business Rewards" options to navigate to the Business Rewards page."

That now works too. They said I should get the points within 5 business days, if I used a valid promo code (which of course I did).

I'll follow up on Monday if it hasn't been updated. I applied and was confirmed (late) on the 27th

  • +1

You haven't used the code "EKBRUNSMEDAY21” at the time of registration.
I'm sorry we can't credit the promotional points.

Signed up and entered code… but apparently I didn't..

  • You could do what I did delete business account and try to reregister though this time enter site normally link somewhere above posts I posted and clear your browser or use another one, though the promotion did end on the 27th of July 2021 but can't hurt to try one more time 👍

    • We can review this as an exception.
We need the below information to validate the Business Rewards profile:
      1. Provide more information and a brief background about your company (nature of business, type of product or services offered, number of employees and frequently travelled destinations).
If you have a company brochure or website, please feel free to send us the details.
      2. Provide an official acknowledgement letter that organization is aware of and has authorized the registration of this Business Rewards account, through an official letter from an authorized signatory (with official stamp/seal of the organization).
      3. Kindly provide an official or company email address to be linked to your Business Rewards account

Seems like you need more than just an ABN.

      • +1

Got that email also, replied with the needed info and just got an email today saying that it has been approved and I was granted the 10,000 Business Rewards Points.

        • So you signed up after the 27th of July 2021? I think more info of what you actually forwarded to Emirates business would help few that have posted above as sounds like your running a legit business and have the right documentation to provide👍😁

      • All I provided at signup, for section I think they termed "trading number" was my ABN and for section I think they termed "trading certificate" a downloaded pdf copy of my ABN

Edit: you couldn't just delete and resign up again?

Anyway most of those 3 questions you can answer with BS, that's if you could be bothered, well there surely making it difficult lol

        • Seems you got lucky.

I got the email with the 3 hoops to jump through. Wasn't too bad and they've now just credited me with the points.

  • +1

Checked my account and already received the 10,000 points, thanks to OP :) Hope everyone has also received their bonus points too…
