Man that legendary run 2 weeks was a pita!

I raided on two devices and grabbed all the legendaries I didnt have (one account started this yr during rayquaza and the other account during yveltal).

Fwiw, poke genie is better than pokeraid!!! Much much simpler raid/host interface.

I was so happy I finally got Zekrom. Had seen it in my friends list as someone's buddy and it just teased me for so long I didn't have it.

    • Oh wait, what poke genie hosts raids? PokeRaid was a disaster on the legendary weekend, but normally works pretty well.

      • Yeah it's really good, try it (I'm android).

        Hosting is super simple:
Open app > start overlay > go to raid gym in pogo, click scan overlay button and its pretty much done, no chatting i.e. anr.

        Still gotta accept friends.

There's quality of life built in for hosting and joining raids.

The only downside is e.g. you can't pick and choose which mewtwo room to join, its one queue for everyone who wants mewtwo e.g. 10k queue for mewtwo, there are no other mewtwo "rooms". Whereas in pokeraid you can quickly mash join and skip/beat autojoin'ers sometimes.

This is the same for the host, your room is put into a queue.

There are notifications built in so you can go watch tv etc.

Quality stuff like if you've scanned all your pokemon it knows your pokemon and puts ideal Pokemon together to counter raid bosses and you just click a button and then paste it into pogo to get that combination for optimised damage!
