Any way to swap the Chardonnay with something else like another bottle of sparkling + rose?

    •

Sorry @ElectricapTears - It's a bit too hard to swap things out. Invariably that's when mistakes happen that annoy people. Sparkling always good for a celebration - end of lockdowns, vaccine taken, more traditional occasions like birthdays. Cheers! RD :-)

Is there a relationship to the Hardy wine empire?

    •

      Hi @Niko123456.

My wife, Bec's great-great-great grandfather started Hardys in 1853. No family members work for Accolade (owner of Hardys, Grant Burge, Cellar One etc). So same family, no corporate or company connection.

You can read more of the story here -> https://bechardy.com.au/our-story/

      Cheers RD :-)

Great. I ordered but it looks like it charged me $129 because I'm dumb and put Ozbargain as the code instead of Take30…

Can I cancel and start again?

Thanks for the order Niko and for using the LiveChat to resolve the above. Happy to help Cheers! RD :-)

Will always opt to go direct to a small business rather than going to Uncle Dan's, or the like.

White wines aren't for me, so got two of the Red Tasting packs instead.

    Cheers OP, and good luck!

Thanks @Klowdz for the order. I'm sure you'll enjoy! Cheers! RD :-)

    Ordered! Great Stuff.

  •

If I order, can you guarantee I'm likely to get Hardys 1853 wine experience rather than Bec's cousin Laurel s experience?

    •

Hi @Travelbug. I wouldn't inflict either of those service levels on you. We've moved on from the horse and cart of Bec's great-great-great grandfather in 1853 and fortunately neither Laurel nor Oliver Hardy feature on the family tree! Cheers! RD :-)

If there was a version with just Reds, I would be ordering straight away.

Hi Maverick911 - Did you miss this one? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/640019

Thanks Richard. Just bought the tasting pack. A fan of your wines as I have bought the Bec Hardy Sav, Chardonnay for myself and bought the Braossa and Mclaren Vale shiraz's for my brother. Quite eager to try the others except the rose, but I'm sure there's someone I know who would be happy to drink it. Keep up the good work.

    •

A good curry will go perfectly with the rose and it's certainly curry weather in the southern states at the moment!
Thanks for the continued support of Bec's wines, it is very much appreciated by us both. Cheers! RD :-)

Had the 2019 SA Shiraz last night - very drinkable.

At ~$9/bottle can't really go wrong for this level of quality.

    •

Thanks for the kind words. Running low on the Bec Hardy SA Shiraz 2019….I might have to snaffle a few for the wine rack at home too! Cheers! RD :-)
