  • LHR for those wondering.

    • Damn, they're giving the LHR treatment to 3060ti as well, it's the best dollar/fps card in the 30-series.

      • Dollar/FPS hasn't been affected on LHR cards. LHR doesn't impact how well it games.

Of course, the same can't be said about it's mining abilities…

    HODL

    • do not forget they can mine ergo with LHR card

      • Scalpers are selling 3 yo rx580 for 600$!! Which gives 30mh/s. This LHR version gives the same. So not a bad deal as you can use it for gaming too

        • Seriously? I have a 1080, a 1060 and an rx570… should I be mining something?

          • +2

            @Buyingcrap: Or sell them

          • @Buyingcrap: $3.80 per day after power consumption costs. Don't think the 4gb of the 570 is any use for ETH min 6gb now I believe. $6.17/day if you dont pay for power.

Yeah, nah, GTX 1060 used to be available for under $200 back in 2019, and 1660 could be had for low $200s.

The most horrible part about this is the current pricing is almost identical to the 2070S/2080 which came out years ago when looking at rasterisation perf. The only real advantage it has are its rtx (raytracing) performance.
(Tensor features such as Nvidia Broadcast and DLSS are also available on the 2080 for those who didn’t know. Even though there was an upgrade to tensor cores , they also effectively halved the amount so tensor perf is also almost identical)

    • you are saying this like people should just buy a 2080 which are now over $1000 second hand.

      • +6

I think they're more lamenting how prices used to be.

  • Return to RRP or give me death

man I want KBBQ now :(

    • +2

Considering how the process has matured, yields have gone up, and new products are around the corner…even RRP is…disappointing.

  • OOS now, only shows this notice at checkout fyi

late 2020 I got a new 1650 Super for $199 ($189 after newsletter sign-up)… for a build for a mates kid…. …… so much regrets not buying more of those. (I'm using a GTX 670).

    • I got a 1650 super for about $230, ended up buying a 1660 super for $300, I had so much trouble trying to get rid of the 1650s brand new for $200 on gumtree. lol

  • +1

Remember all those “lolrip i will help you out by buying your 2080 ti from you for $600” on gumtree?

    • +1

non ti so quite a bit slower but price is pretty ok in this market but would rather pay $70 more for a ti
