    Not $396 of value. That'd be outrageously priced.
    I think it's $99/1.5kg ($66/kg) with a second 1.5kg free making the cost $33/kg for 3kg of scotch fillet.

    Depends entirely on quality. But even still, $33/kg for bulk uncut scotch is about right, even from my local, very good, butchers (they're both low $30s for bulk).

        I LOVE Aldi, I shop there almost exclusively.
        but Vic's meats is pretty solid and this is a solid deal.
        Aldi meat is largely hit and miss.

        (I worked 3 years as a "boner" .(lol) in a beef abattoir that serviced the major supermarkets as well as wagyu for the Japanese market. Japs pay $300/kg at the time [10years ago] for the stuff)

    You're saying its normal value is $133 per kg?
    That's not a fair price at all. Maybe go buy from your local butcher instead.

    I have bought quite a bit of meat from these guys, generally the eye fillet and the quality is actually fantastic (retaurant level). They also do great minced meat and sausage specials. Both are also very good quality.

      No one's measuring beef in kilobytes and no one's suggesting normal price for 1.5kg is $198. Vic's Meats are claiming they have previously sold this for $66/kg, steep but not unheard of for Vic's. They are known for stocking quality meat and $33/Kg delivered isn't ridiculous.

          To me that's pretty clearly saying normal price for 3kg is $198 but they're selling it for $99

                  Anyone could go to their local Asian butcher and pay $25-$30/Kg for some cheaper and pretty ordinary scotch but that's not what this deal is for.

      recyclable silicone ice gel packs

      wrapped in biodegrable sheep wool material for insulation

      overkill. but worth it when youre buying $80 wagyu

      driver called me to tell me he was leaving it on my porch for contactless delivery. arrived on correct day per schedule
