  • Anybody have any review or feedback on this model???

    • If it's the same as mine, it's decent, but i paid 700 iirc

    • +4

I'll step up. It looks quite enjoyable but in reality you realise the other half doesn't have the best view of you, and you're both trying hard to please each other but in essence both failing.

    • I bought this, lasted 8 months before half the screen artifacted and ghosted - unusable..

The most annoying this is removing it from the walk punt and having to actually carry this all the way to the back of big w for them to then take 3 days of review to let me know if they will refund or get it repaired.

FYI the power cable is NOT removable #3DGameMan

I wouldn’t buy again.. I chatted with the device guy.. he said it’s hit and miss.. he sees a stack get returned but his sister bought one that’s going strong for 1 year + 🤷🏻‍♂️

Later I bought from good guys and they send someone out if there’s an issue which is really handy for a 75”+ tv!

  • Is it the same as the hitachi the other week?

  • +2

I have the 65", I think it migbt me slightly different, android 9 vs android 10 on this.

    Anyway

    Pros:
Good picture - in my noob oppinion
    Great price
Easy setup : more android TV bemefit I guess

    Negs:
Average remote: low range, poor responsiveness
Inconsistent conectivity to LG sound bar
Build up of laggyness over time, just facyory reset after 7 months due to lag build up, Netflix basically crashed every time it was opened.
Inability to change settings on anything but FTA channels (unles using vooce command on remote; which sucks)

    • +2

I got the frameless 65” from this deal https://ozb.me/o/2SsG?u=em

The remote feels light weight and flimsy, maybe too light. Can’t tell if holding it the right way up or not in the dark. speakers is a bit of a let down. Other than that everything else works great. Picture quality is very good.

    • Try holding the off button and do a full shut down every now and then. It takes ages to boot up the first time after doing so but I noticed the lagging goes away after doing this.

I am sure it is as good/bad as any Bauhn TV.
Good value picture, not so great sound.
Likely not Apple friendly and no other Apps apart from the installed ones.
    Probably.

Its Android so it has Google Store

    • Quite a few people in previous Eko posts seem to be pretty happy with theirs, especially in terms of picture quality. Can't really say the same for Bauhn.

Is this one of those 220 nit HDR TVs?

  • Anyone got real world energy use numbers? Can you dim the backlight?

Bought 65 qled frameless version around 4-5 months ago and pretty happy with so far. Very good picture quality and pretty bright for me, sound is obviously a let down but not really a big issue ( most TVs have this issue and can be solved with Sound bars if you want ).
They should bring 85 inch model as well.

  • I've had the 65" version since 2019…I've replaced the OS with a Chromecast with Google TV, bit other than that it's been fantastic.

FYI under the CCWGTV setup, you should nominate the TV as a "LG" brand in order to have functional power and input IR signals.

    • Can you set the backlight as low as you want? And do the settings 'stick', or reset back to factory defaults every time you turn it off?

  • Love my SONIQ it's pretty much an LG TV.

    • Do you work for Soniq or something? You seem to really love your TV😅

      • I'm just surprised by this TV okay

  • Purchased friday night. They gave me a k75usg instead of the websites k750usg. Almost same except mine has a metal frame and legs instead of plastic.
Seems good value so far. If they have the k75usg, I'd recommend it. Exactly the same as jbhifis blaupunkt 75"

    • What's your view of the TV

      • It's great so far. Similar picture to all rebadged TV's. OS is extremely fast at the moment. I expect it to slow down over time, but seems promising. OS automatically downloaded the new google TV update and applied it.
        Well worth the money,

        • @mamtox nice I personally got lucky with a sale on SONIQ 65 inch 4K HDR & took a punt mostly because of the LG OS

@Jjj888: Nice. I was shopping all week for the 70" eko webos for $799, but couldnt find stock. really surprised with Android TV. Just lucked out that this 75" went on sale Friday morning

            • @mamtox: Yes it looks like you did well I'm surprised also by the quality of this TV

    • As long as its not a k70 as i cant find a k75 on the EKO website

Purchased the EKO 75" webOS about 3 months ago and using it daily ever since. So far so good and definitely worth the coin.

Only cons is that the remote has slight delay. In built speakers are horrible.

Other than that has good picture quality, OS is still running smoothly and great bang for buck. Paid $750ish.

    • That's why I use sound bar now but love the WebOs

    • I was thinking about the EKO 85inc but Web OS is putting me off. Want Android
How do you find the Web OS

      • I think it's great very simple to use its just like using an LG TV
