only upside I see to this plan would be to sell the phone for say $700 & you'd have a 3yr 40gb sim for $506 or $14pm

    •

So is it 'from' $33.50/month or from $40/month then?

      •

im going by the min cost in the link $1206 & that could be the cancellation cost not the overall cost, so if it's $40pm x 36m = $1440, sell phone for $700, left with a $740 3yr 40gb sim/$20.55pm, run for the hills nothing special to be locked in for 3yrs

    •

36x40-700 = $740, >$20/month. Still not bad except you are locked in for 3 years.

I think the "minimum cost" is if you cancel in first month.
If you get phone + 3 years for $1206, I'm in!!!! (But if it sounds too good to be true …)

36 month contract? This is starting to get ridiculous.

  •

When You Signup for 36 Months (from $40/Month)

    Shouldn't it be from $33.50/Month?

    iPhone 12 mini 64GB $0/mth over 36 months
When you stay connected to a Vodafone Infinite Plan for 36 months. Plan cost additional. Total min cost $1,206

    1206 / 36 = $33.50

    •

      Also why is it "from"?

Is it a different price for different people?

$40 is the minimum plan, you can get this phone free on any plan, if you need more data/intl calls).

    •

Minimum cost is if you cancel it within first month(full RRP of the phone plus $40 for the month), Total cost is $40*36=$1440.

      •

Minimum cost is if you cancel it within first month(full RRP of the phone plus $40 for the month)

That doesn't add up to $1,206 either.

        $1,199 + $40 = $1,239

I am an existing Vodafone customer, will I be able to grab this deal?
I am due for a new phone

    •

call them, find out, come back and let us know

    •

only for existing TPG customers, by invitation only.

  •

(profanity) this sounds pretty good I only got an xS max a year ago but I prefer a smaller phone

  •

Great deal, I wonder if it is possible to upgrade storage capacity to 128 gb / 256 gb for a fee?

    •

follow up: I rang them up and they said no it is only 64gb and the deal is for pre existing TPG customers

      •

You have to prove you're a TPG customer?
        That sucks

        • +5 votes

Haven't TPG customers already suffered enough lol

        • +1 vote

apparently but I was more focused on the phone being 64gb, it is not enough for my usage. Next iPhone I get will be 256gb in order to be more future-proof, I was willing to make concessions for this deal though….

"The deal should be opened for everyone"

called them and appears nope it only for TPG targeted customers

  •

Would this work for iiNet customers?

Why garbage 64gb is like so 2015, my new phone is 512gb

  •

wow i literally signed up to an infinite plan, i'll see if the can throw this in also

    •

      best of luck mate!

I think that many companies have leftover stock of the iPhone mini as it hasn't sold that well. It is still a great phone and I am warming up to the size tbh as I can reach all parts of the screen on a single hand. The question is whether I want to wait until the iPhone 13 is released next month…

  •

64 gig only. No option to get a 128 gb phone. Just called them. Would've got it if 128/256 was an option.

    •

I was told the same thing. They also told me that I can only sign up for the $55 infinite deal for this plan. Is that what they told you as well?

      •

I was told that I could sign up for any 40 dollar and above plan.

  •

Hi, I am with tpg, and I called the number. yes, it is only for the iPhone mini 64Gb plan. And it is available on the $40 per month plan for 36 months. And you have to pay back the phone if you don't sign for the whole contract.

    •

thanks for confirming. Did you sign up for the deal?

      • +1 vote

not at first, but when I was offered $40 per month for 24 months, I took up the offer

        •

boom! great idea, I called them up and got them to do the same offer. I was going to sign up to a sim only plan but with this deal I get a free phone. Cheers mate

  •

They require you to port in or new number
