    There was a firmware update to make them not rely on flash. I can connect direct to mine with edge/chrome

      I had the same dilemma. Decided to go with the bullet version as the dome version has no security screw and can easily be twisted off.

    Yes - the person detection would be much better than the motion detection I currently have. Everything sets its off (shadows on a windy day, moths at night), so if I got an alert for every detection, I’d go crazy.

    Bear in mind lower res cameras can be better at night. The 4K will be better in daylight.
