Very happy with my 2 pack Deco that I paid $180 for.

    • I got it for $210, 1+ year back, no complaints about the performance.

I've got these - they have been a dramatic improvement in coverage over a single router.
You can also connect a network cable to a slave unit for desktop computers etc.
I purchased the 3-pack from Good Guys Commercial for $182. Well worth it.

  • Great price for a 3 pack. Wish there was C&C closer to home.

Grabbed the one at Penrith (now out of stock)

    Cheers

  • Great price - have had these for about 6 months and have been absolutely rock solid

  • Price beat at officworks if you can find stock?

  • Midland out of stock now :(

  • Whoa. This is a great deal.

  • OOS now

  • Officeworks have Deco M5 priced at $268. Product code shown there is different to SKU listed with EB product. Does this affect ability to price match?

  • Oos so quick

  • danm miss it

Man those are some nice pills

  • Cheap as, paid $280 a year ago, never missed a beat.

  • Can these do wireless uplinks to a wireless uplink? I realise ideally they'd all be wired and failing that only a single wifi uplink but in some situations you don't have any option but to wirelessly uplink to a wirelessly uplinked unit.

    • Not sure what you mean by wireless uplinks but I have the 2 pack and only one of the unit has ethernet connectivity.

    • Yes they can wirelessly connect to each other. You could also use a powerline adapter to send signal over your power lines and then connect that via ethernet to the slave routers

      • I'm asking if they have to wirelessly connect to a wired unit or if can they wirelessly connect to another wireless unit.

So if you check out the Fits Every Type of Home section at the bottom of TP-Link's product page you can see that in all three examples no units are out of range of the base/wired/Internet unit.

Just below that in their All Decos Work Together section it looks like there might be a wireless uplink to a wireless uplink but the thing it might be is the only thing not labelled in the diagram so it might just indicate a non-Deco device.

I have a 3-pack set up in a daisy chain config.

Unit 1 (cable to modem) -> Unit 2 (wireless to Unit 1) -> Unit 3 (wireless to Unit 2)

Elsewhere on the internet: "The Deco M5 supports star network and daisy-chain network"

I think this answers your question.

  • I'm curious if I should wait out for a Wifi 6 special on a good Mesh pack for the future. We already got some wifi 6 deviecs in the house, though the router i have is pretty crappy coverage.

  • got for $180 from GGC but this price is cheap as

  • Very bummed that I missed this :(

Any more stock coming in??? (Dreamin!!)

  • I ready have three at home

Just need one extra unit to cover the whole house thoroughly

Anyone got one unit spare that they wanna sell to me?

  • Paid 180 through tgc earlier this year too and it's been a game changer, fantastic product.

    This is a true ozbargain!
