Found this deal today at Costco Ipswich store.
Cascade Mountain High,Carbon fibre trekking poles.
Comes with 4 different tips snow, hard surface, sand & mud and protecting surfaces. Height adjustable, lightweight and durable. Seems like a fair deal.

  I would be really surprised if this really is carbon fibre. You'd be hard pushed to find aluminium poles for this price.

  I have carbon fibre poles (as well as other aluminium ones) and they have multi benefits over aluminium. They're lighter, quieter, more rigid (the biggest benefit for me), and absorb more vibrations.

  You get a + because this is a great deal, and because the last time I posted a bout trekking poles I got negged by a bunch of (profanity) who claimed that 'real ozbargainers find sticks'
