Harman Kardon Citation One Mkii Smart Speaker (Grey) $158 Delivered @ Mobileciti

60

I've been keeping an eye out for one of these, as they have good reviews.
I've listened to it side by side with the Sonos One, and I think they are quite comparable (disclaimer: to my ears).

They have been selling around their RRP of $295 in places like Harvey Norman and JB Hifi.

Just recently a few places have them cheaper, and Mobileciti has the lowest overall price at the moment.

  • For $192 you get 2 of these from Telstra.

    • +1

Yep, that is a great deal. This one may help those without Telstra rewards.

  • I wish this had an inbuilt battery for easy mobility.

    • You won't be getting much mobility when the unit is 2kg. Unless your referring to placing it another room on the go, in which case, you might as well build an ecosystem around the house :P

  • I was contemplating buying these (via the Telstra offer) to primarily pair with my laptop in the study, however warning to others these don't support the low latency Qualcomm Bluetooth AptX codec which means you'll likely get significant audio lag if trying to watch a video/movie… if just using them for music streaming however won't be a problem.

ed#1 Is anyone who actually has a set able to verify this? Or if using with an Apple (Mac/iOS) device would using AirPlay which they support also resolve audio/video sync issues?

ed#2 a few people have confirmed delay/sync issues on the existing thread here

  • Currently Listed at $138. Is this the best bang for the buck out there. Just want a work speaker for the staff..
