open to suggestions for both men and women's cuts.

Do you go for a women's haircut when you're tired of men's haircuts?

  • I tried quite a few barbers in Brisbane CBD and landed on The Electric Chair. This was a couple years ago now and they were charging ~$30 for a fade when everyone else was charging $50+ and results were just the same. Looks like they're charging $45 now for a fade.

There's always the lady who has the little booth in the Queen St Mall bus station. Knew someone who got their haircut there and it wasn't….terrible.

    • Do you mean F10 Quickcut? $10/10minutes and I was surprised how decent a job.

      • I think that's it. Been a couple years since I lived there, literally just a booth with a curtain.

  • Brisbane school or hairdressing on Adelaide St also has a barber section - $5. Sometimes just takes a bit longer than a normal cut but is supervised and a teacher comes and checks it off at the end.

    • "All off, excellent work …. next"

  • Fortitude Valley City Hair

Been going there for 4 years. The girls there do a good job, but the owner makes a mess of my hair everytime!

    But cant complain for $12

  • Go to TAFE and wait three hours for a $7 haircut and look like a doofus afterwards.

  • Shaver shop and get a "beard trimmer", do it yourself and save money, forever …. till the shaver lasts.
