$150 for existing customers on the grandfathered plans (plus extra 30GB)…

    • +1

Ooh that's good, where's that listed? I'll add a link to it.

      • +2

just wait for the email… no link…

        I'll post a screen shot…

        • Is this for recharging? Where did you see the extra 30gb

          • +4

            @itslittfam: Details here…

They are currently sending out the emails in batches…

I've received it for 2 accounts, and still waiting for 2 more…

            • +2

@jv: Yep, I too got one yesterday.

They are migrating all those on the $150 plan with bonus data and then for the first Recharge giving $50 off the $200 plan with 100GB + 30GB bonus on first recharge and then $200 after that from then on.

There will also be a couple of minor alterations to the plan but still quite similar and the update to the latest Boost Mobile Prepaid plan will happen automatically from 14 September.

              • +3

@zztrader: Ahh that is a shame it is going away. so after the first recharge, if there is no other promising deals after that then it might be time to jump ship to more greener pastures,

              • @zztrader: I'm an existing customer hoping for this

                do I need the 100GB + 30GB ?

this last year I had 80GB credit and nearly 1 year later I've only used about 17GB in a year

mostly at home during COVID lockdown on home wifi instead -

otherwise I would have used more data/travelling - remember that/when we used to … ?

                • @Hangryuman: Hi Hangry, I have no clue how much you may need or use but if you only used 17GB last year then likely you wont need the extra GB that are on offer.

I too use very little GB's in comparison as I already have NBN HFC on 250/25 with Superloop which is great.

I guess things can change though and we find ourselves needing more at times so I view this as having a Buffer for data if or should it ever be required and I dont mind paying a bit more to have access to 4Gx as the speeds also are great after midnight but pretty average during the day and through whatever lockdowns or busy towers around.

IMO, I would just run with it until your circumstances change or a superior deal comes your way 👍

            • @jv: Lovely, I'll wait for the email

            • +1

              @jv: https://boost.com.au/pages/compare-your-anytime-plus-plan/

Plan goes from Unlimited Standard International calls to 25 Countries to 20 Countries.

** Brazil, Bangladesh, Chile, Colombia and Pakistan no longer unlimited.

They also dropped all unlimited International texts to 1200 texts per year.

    • I got a text saying I get a bonus 60gb on the $150 plan if I recharge before expiery. Plus you get to keep your unused data I think.

      • Plus you get to keep your unused data I think.

Nope… Not on the long expiry plans.

        • Sweet now i know thanks jv.
Might have to chase Boost up about the extra data nothing is on my account.

          • +1

@aussieprepper: i got the offer and redeemed once i recharged before expiry. they don't add on to it. check the account there is the regular 80gb and under it is bonus data 60gb or 59.xx once you have used it.

            • @RQNinja: My data is there 60gb.
Mate you are a champion, saved me so much hassle thank you!

  • +9

Thanks for posting, but you might be better off getting it from one of the resellers such as Auditech who have it for $160 + Free $30 Vodafone Prepaid SIM using "BONUS".

    • +1

      Added to deal!

    • +1

This seems like a good deal for those currently on a higher Boost plan who might want to drop down to a this lower plan at a discount.

I'm thinking you could port to Voda with the free SIM and then port back to Boost after the month is over, unless I'm overlooking something?

      • +6

The port out and back seems to be a common theme on OzB to take advantage of these sorts of disloyalty offers.

No bonuses for actual customer loyalty.

        • I would very much like to not jump from provider to provider to get the best value, but like you said, there isn't much reward for loyalty these days.

Unfortunately the focus does seem to be geared towards gaining new customers rather than keeping existing ones

    • I ended up ordering from Auditech for my mother in law, paid the $7 for express and arrived next day (yesterday).

  • Boost 240 GB Plan bought last year for $240 EOFY offer → Ported to Kogan 40 GB Plan for $4.90 Last Month → Moving to Boost again this Month 240 GB Plan (got from OW for $221.35). I am on the slight higher side of Internet User. Anything better than this? I will try next year, lol.

  • -1

Anyone know if officeworks would price match auditech? Eventhough you have to enter a code to bring price down to $160?

    • +4

Think you already answered your own question.

    • +3

They introduced the coupon to avoid benefiting Officeworks

      • +1

        Thank you, now i know.

  • Is it 100 GB to use from day 1 or 100/12 = 8….. GB GB for each month.

    • +3

      All available from day 1

    • 100GB or time runs out, whichever first.

  • apologies if its a stupid question..
i am currently on Telstra prepaid.. can i change it to this $200 1 year plan?

    • +1

      Yes, you can!

You can do Boost to Telstra
      Vodafone to Kogan
      Catch to Optus

      and vice versa!

  • awesome thank you so much

  • I used 51 GB in one month of this year and 20-35 GB for the rest of the months. Don't think this is good for me.

    • I’d say you are correct.

I’ve got 4.5GB left after ~11 months on $150 plan expiring Sep-14 so it’s about perfect. Shame it’s going away :(

  • Are the unlimited calls for 12 months? Or is it 1 month of calls, but 12 months of data?

That's an amazing deal compared to what I'm on at the moment…

    • +4

      Unlimited 365 Days

      Unlimited Calls & Text
      to standard national numbers

      International Calls & Text
Unlimited standard calls to 20 selected destinations
+ 1200 mins standard calls to 30 selected destinations
+ 1200 standard text to any country

    • +4

Yes, 1 year to enjoy calls and data. If you consume your data in the first week, you’ll still have 51 weeks of free calls/SMS.

      Beaten by 40 seconds.

  • Auditech is coming up as $200 now. If you don't call international numbers or care about the bonus Vodafone sim and Apple music streaming, Woolworths mobile have 100GB for $150 on a 12 month plan. Also on the Telstra network.

    • +5

You have to add to cart and put in the code "BONUS".

      https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/241169/90591/boost160b…

    • Also get 10% off a Woolies shop once per month too..

      • Woolies sim does not have international calling free minutes. Thats a big thing for people that need that. Sometimes whatsapp/other voip apps act up a lot

    • Woolies don’t have access to quite as much 4G tech or range as boost… Boost is the only one with 4GX I believe (but no 5G).

    • +3

You also get WiFi calling on boost which is not available on woolworths mobile.

  • +2

Me and partner are both on Boost and got one for my daughter. I am using it for two years with no complaints.

  • +2

Same 20% off with the Boost $300 pack at Auditech as well… use code BONUS
    https://www.auditech.com.au/boost-mobile-300-prepaid-sim-sta…

  • Anyone got this issue- bought two $150 80gb data card from this seller a few months ago, actived one sim card this Monday, but it shows only 20gb data in total in the boost mobile app. Connected to the Boost team yesterday and was told they will correct it in the system, but still haven't got any change in the app by far. Do I need to connect them again or just wait!

    • +3

You get 20 GB when you activate. Later, you will get 60gb bonus on second Friday automatically!

This additional credit will be applied AUTOMATICALLY on the second Friday after the initial activation, at which time the customer will receive a text message notifying them of its completion.

  • Currently on a telstra $49 p/month plan. Can I transfer my number from that to boost prepaid?

    • +2

I believe, if it's Post-paid, need to change to pre-paid and then move to boost. That is what I did back in 2018.

    • +2

I just transferred from a Telstra post-paid to Boot pre-paid on the weekend, took about 5 mins.

    • Maybe the changed but a coupe years ago I had to transfer out to Optus ( or Voda), then over to Boost .

    • +1

Call boost support before making the change. Just to confirm

  • +1

    Thanks, mountains

  • +2

They have the worst customer support team. I had to contact them 7 times trying to get the SIM activated because I ran into an issue with ID authentication and every single one of them told me different stories on what had happened and what needed to happen. They all blamed the previous customer support agent saying what I was told was not correct.

    • same

    • +1

100% agree. Boost support is ultra bad. Like after porting, you should hope you never need them again at all.

  • tx op, got one

  • +2

I signed up to this deal earlier. Make sure if you are already on Telstra/Boost, please port out to Vodafone for a month before port back to Boost.

I learnt my lesson when the Boost CSR ported my existing Boost number to the new SIM, and something went wrong, and I lost my mobile number for 3 weeks before all the TIO escalations, tons of phone calls and messages, and then finally found someone who knows what they are doing and resolved it within 1 hour.

    • +1

I was on telstra post paid before moving to boost, ported to catch for like 1/2 day and ported to boost without an issue.
The boost reps told me to do this actually :)

  • I just tried to order the $300 + $30 voda pack but order is stuck on processing….. Anyone else?

    • Are you saying the order didn’t go through or it did and the page says processing? According to one of the emails I received from them, their same-day cut off for sending is 4pm.

I ordered at 3pm, and got an email with tracking at 4.30pm. Said processing before that happened.

      • I think the order didn't go through, didn't go to any confirmation page.

  • +1

Not sure if this has been mentioned in this or related threads. For those have the Amex Telco $30 statement credit on $100 spend, there is a chance of further savings. I recharged on Boost website for a 365 days plan with Amex and am pleasantly surprised it popped up as a Telstra payment this getting the $30 credit. Just to share my experience and don’t know if it applies to startup pack purchase as well

  • Auditech $200 plan is OOS now.

  • BONUS is working, deal is back.

  • Boost has recently migrated my plan to the new one. I was on the $150, 80gb 1 year plan.
I can’t find any info on their site if the new plans still include unlimited streaming of Apple Music. Does anyone know if this is still included on the new plans?
    TIA
