Seems like the only outright pre-order deal for the new Samsung Flip/Fold Phone. All other deals require to sign up to a contract.

    I'd spend $2.5k in a heartbeat if I believed that the phone was a game changer.

    But meh.. folding tech just seems a bit boring.

    Hopefully the new pixel phones have some cool features.

  Fold3 was a bit of a let down, not much of an upgrade if you already have the fold2.
  They should have included a top of the line camera system and smooth out the middle crease.
  S-Pen and water resistance is good, but would have like to see more in an such an expensive phone.

  I think it's a small incremental upgrade until the competitors catch up.

    It's cheaper than the Fold 2 and offers more, I would say it's the right direction. Would be nice if it had the S pen included.

          @CyberMurning: It doesn't come with an S pen in the box, it is redeemable in one of the pre order combo gift bundles but not a regular inclusion.

  What’s to stop someone from spending the $100 credit once they receive the phone, and getting the free gift from Samsung then returning the phone?

  T&C’s say ‘If you cancel or return the Eligible Item, you will only be refunded the price paid for the Eligible Item and the Promotional Code will be invalidated’.

  So $100 coupon invalidated, but if it’s already been used it can’t be invalidated lol…..

  Of course they could always refund you the purchase price less $100 but that’s contrary to their their own T&C’s

  As a user of the fold 2 once U have that much screen real estate it's gonna be hard to go back to a normal phone . Waiting for the fold 4

    Except on the outer display. Great to have a tablet-like screen for media but for the times you want to use your phone in one hand, I don't want a subpar experience with that narrow screen ratio. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't get used to the Fold 2's outer display when trying it out.

      I won't lie it takes some time getting used to the front screen. I have now and one hand scrolling thru social media and websites are easy, also messaging with Swype is so much faster as it's not big . Also the inside screen is more then just media I pretty much use this form most of the time . But I understand it's not everyones cup of tea. I been using it now for a while it's hard to see me go back to a normal phone myself based solely on my experience with the fold

  I find the flip more interesting than the fold, definitely considering it compared to the upcoming iPhone 13
