I don't think $79.33 for a 'RGB' mechanical keyboard is a deal at all.
I'd rather get a Tecware Phantom TKL for less money

    • I agree

For $56 I still standby that I'd prefer a Tecware Mechanical keyboard with proper RGB or snag yourself a Cooler Master CK series keyboard for around $50ish when you can find them

    1. Change to Amazon AU (add a .au) and it will be $55.99 with free (and likely faster) delivery.
    2. I reckon a Kmart one for 30-odd dollars would probably be somewhat similar.
    • Seems like changing to au leads to one titled red backlit?

I've just noticed that the AU one actually has Blue switches, not Red, even though the ASIN numbers are identical. There was also only 1 Keyboard in stock.

Have switched it back to the USA link for now since there wouldn't be enough stock in Au to qualify for a deal post.

This is a terrible price for an average mech keyboard.

    Pings like a mofo.

If you want a cheap mech board, try Havit.

Edit. OP changed price from $80 to $56. $56 is good.

56 is a decent price for an entry-level mech. But you're much better off spending a bit extra and going for a CoolerMaster CK or Ducky One 2 series on sale if you're looking to dip your toes in mech KBs

  • Sometimes it says Outemu Red switches, sometimes it says “Cherry Blue equivalent” which would be Outemu Blues. I don’t think I’d order this without checking the switch type for sure

might as well get this kogan keyboard, which also has fixed colour backlighting for $32 + shipping: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-tkl-rainbow-rgb-mechanica…

Using this for last one year, no complaint so far..

      • i've been using my TKL blue switch for more than a year. just the windows key is glitchy and of course it pings. but otherwise fine for the price.

I looked at getting this for my 13yr old for his first mechanical keyboard but ended up getting the keychron c1 from Mwave for $85 delivered.

    • Sheeeeesh! This should be a deal!

      • Hehe there's only red switches available now the blue & browns are out of stock.
