Cool price for an 850w gold PSU that screams "I'm sexy and I know it!"

Enjoy an 80 Plus Gold efficiency rating, full-modular cabling, semi-fanless operation, a 135mm FDB fan, 16AWG PCIe high efficiency cables, and a 10 year warranty.

I'm regretting pulling the trigger on the TT RGB one last week

  • This or Corsair equivalent?

    • Yeah, was wondering the same thing, the Corsair RM850 is $159 +delivery (or pick up for me) from PLE atm.

Had this and a rm850x. This was definitely louder in terms of fan noise. The cables are thinner though and easier to route.

Edit. I think the rm850 has thin cables too. This one had more coil whine as well.

tier A with 'quiet operation under moderate load ' description on the LTT PSU tier list

the exploding gigabyte psu was also on there as a tier A

Lol, I don’t know why you got downvoted.

    Is white better than gold?

    • I don't think so.

But you have other black PSUs for same or lesser price.. the attraction is the white colour ;)

  • I got same but 750w version from centre.com for $129 a month ago and I’m very happy with it.

I've never understood this. The vast majority of cases now have a PSU shroud so you won't see it. What is the point of a white case or an rgb fan on your PSU?

    • +1

Read about open cases. Its a thing

  • Nice deal, what system are you using the 850w for? I just bought the TT 750w but for a future 5600x / 38000 gtx setup.

    • I have a 3070 now and planning to add a spare card for mining. For 3080 and 3090 you will need 850 and above

      • Here's to hoping next gen has lower power draw :(

  • This model has great hold up time and very nice voltage regulation, plus low noise. I don't think Corsair RM is always the go-to choice, this is probably equally good.

  • oops wrong brand - nothing to see - move along
