Samsung Galaxy Buds and Buds+ wipe the floor with these, and they're at the same price point or lower.
It's been a long time since anyone of purport has recommended a Sennheiser IEM, which is a big part of why their consumer division struck up a partnership with Sonova, an audiology company.
Sennheiser are elite at open back headphones, and the occasional closed back headphone (though mostly through their professional brand, Neumann), but they haven't been at the forefront of the IEM game for at least 10 years, and they've been miles behind since the Chi-Fi explosion 5 years ago.
Samsung's gear is backed by AKG and Harman, and they've been doing a fantastic job.
I've got these and think they sound fantastic. I'm definitely no audiophile but I owned a set of Sennheiser hd58xs a little while back and absolutely hated them. Mind you it's impossible to compare those two because they are completely different products but I do wonder how much better the Samsung ear buds are compared to these. Sound is so subjective and ear buds aren't really something you can test out.
Sennheisers are awesome, IMHO. Although sound is subjective as it depends on the genre of music you listen to and sound EQ. However, plenty of reviewers out there rate the Sennheisers (especially the Momentum True and this model) as their Top 3 while the Samsung Buds don't rate well (rubbish Active Noise Cancelling but the Buds Pro 2 is an improvement).
