    • Does the $10 voucher work on an existing account?

      • +3

I don’t believe so, you most likely need to just checkout as a guest or create a new account, both work.

    • Thanks mate, ordered 2

  • +2

Oh, FML, just bought one 1 day ago for $59. Too late to cancel 😜.

    • Ah well. Same for me.

Can't complain though, it really is quite excellent and it was at a fair price.

      • Yeah, agree, just the timing hurts a bit

        • Agree, just trying to console myself. At least it's only $10.

  • -2

I accidentally dropped mine and it stopped working, perfect timing to get a new one.

Btw does anyone know if would count under warranty?

    • +2

I crashed my car and it doesn't work… Huge chance of failure but never hurts to try :).

    • Well, you could always say it stopped working. If they replace it, great. If not, worth a try. Always good to ask. They might throw some good wills at you.

      • What if you end up with bad Wills

  • +8

Is this the model that most people recommend as 'the' electric toothbrush to get? All the important functions without the frills

    • What functions?

      • +2

        2+ weeks battery
        1/4 mouth vibration reminder
        Pressure alert light

    • +13

This is the one. Cheapest one in the higher level of oscillations, without all the crap like Bluetooth /AI etc. I've had one for years, best value for money to performance ratio.

    • +8

Yep - this one is the top model that just cleans your teeth without trying to hack into your phone. I pair this brush with a USB charger — like this one:
      https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0888P5Z9X
expecting international travel to occur again in the future!

      • +1

wow thanks for this didnt even know they made usb chargers for these

      • Great thanks!

      • Didnt even know these have USB charger. Thanks for sharing!!

    • +1

      Yes.

    • +2

      Ozbargainers recommendations are always reliable.

    • Its the Apple Toothbrush.

  • +9

If you're using a manual toothbrush, get this one as your first electric. You'll never go back.

    Review: https://www.electricteeth.com/au/oral-b-pro-2-2000-review/

  • Bought two!! Thanks!

  • Thanks perfect timing as my Philips Sonicare just crapped itself.

    • how long have you had it for? you can contact their support via FB, most likely they going to send you a replacement unit.

  • +1

is it better this one or the 5000 series at Costco for $129?

    • I'm sure it is priced better, I mean cheaper.

    • It's probably better as the power button just literally turns it on and off. The 5000 series requires a long press to switch off.

  • Thanks mate. My Phillips one kicked the bucket so this will be an able replacement

  • +1

Are they waterproof to wash off with a tap after your done?

    • +5

I use mine in the shower every day, definitely waterproof, although I’ve never taken it diving i have left it in the bottom of a full bath overnight by accident and 2 years on its still as good as the first day!

Anyone know a deal for heads on at the moment? seems to be nothing decent for a tightarse like me

    • +1

Yes, they are. Not the charger though.

  • Does anyone know of a good travel charger for these? I made the mistake of thinking the travel case did this so would like to know how to charge on the road!
    Cheers

    • +2

      See factors comment above

  • Thanks, it’s about a time I replace my 2012 Oral B professional care 3000. 9 years guys

    • I think I used my oral b vitality for more than 10 years.

      • +1

wow. Max I have used previous one was 5 years. Battery wasnt that good afterwards.

        • +3

Thanks Enalup for posting, I missed the other one last time with 199 votes, after reading the review, I think it is time for an upgrade. Not knowing I could get this deal again, with an even better price. So buying it is a no brainer. Also good you put the extra info on the top to avoid extra postage cost. Thanks for looking after us. Good night.

  • +1

    ty bought one

  • +1

    Thanks OP, bought two

    • Cheers! Best price for 2

  • Prefer the Ocleans for this price.

  • This use regular oral b heads?

    • +2

      yea.

      • +1

        Got one, thanks for posting

  • Thanks OP got x2 wife approved

  • same just got 2 wife approved, now where to buy cheap brush heads please?

  • +1

Thank you. I have added the hand sanitiser ($2) to get free shipping. Dont forget to click on cashrewards or shopback
    https://www.shavershop.com.au/lavisse/hand-sanitiser---60ml-…

  • This or oral b smart 5 5000 dual handle from costco?

  • My one started dying this week after 6 years! Best purchase time to buy another

  • Grabbed two!

  • I think this deal has been last since… I got it about a month ago? By that time Woolworths' oral B range was on discount and whatever the lower model having 50% off there I got this for $57.xx delivered(black with travelling box).

My old one's battery is not holding charge any more, been using it for a month this model is more powerful and the battery last much longer(even compare to when the old one was new).

  • +4

Buy two, use welcome $10 off, then use code above. Add this Steripod for extra hygeine https://www.shavershop.com.au/steripod/hygiene-system-006768… and don't forget cashrewards.

Grand total $96.99 less $3.09 cashrewards = $93.90 including shipping!

    • Fantastic effort :)

    • thanks. bought the same as you.

    • Good work! I dont see anything dodgy here.

  • Cheers, just bought one.

  • Can I buy build replacement heads for this?

  • I am surprised it is still in stock after almost 200 votes. They must have a lot in stock.

  • +4

I have this toothbrush, by far the best one of the Oral B range as you aren't paying double or triple for pointless features like bluetooth and timers etc.

    • That is why I am convinced to buy after real people review on this site. Can't wait to try it. The only thing I am worried about is it comes with 1 brush head. The previous oral b comes with 2 brushes.

  • I still prefer the Colgate/Omron range over Oral B. Superior brushing action, more compact and better designed, imho

  • Is this better than the Colgate ProClinical 250R Deep Clean I bought last week for $25? I'm not happy with the 250R because it just vibrates instead of rotating.

    • I have used the Xiaomi high speed vibration ones in the past and their head is a little big comparted to round oral B heads. Colgate ones if I am not wrong have same oval shape. I think cleaning based on teeth shape is better done with round shape. Having said that high vibration brush do feel great after brushing.

  • +1

Thanks OP. Got 3 for the family. Don't neg me on this one please!:X

If the $10 for $100 spend voucher doesn't work it could be because your email had been used before. Use another email.

  • +2

How are these compared to something like Oclean or SOOCAS?

I have been using the cheaper Oral-B Vitality then also tried the Xiaomi T100
Xiaomi's battery life is way better than Oral-B Vitality, however I preferred the Oral-B's oscillating feature over Xiaomi's sonic

So maybe this would be a better option than an Oclean/SOOCAS or similar sonic ones?

  • Anyone know how it compares to the 1500 Pro model ?

  • I've been using my existing Pro 2000 for 2 years, and am finding the battery runs out easily …. is it possible to swap over? I notice the tool and the base has a twist type bottom, which might be for replacing the battery?? Any ideas???

    • +1

      as per website:

Can I replace the battery in my Oral-B electric toothbrush?
No, you cannot replace the battery in your Oral-B electric toothbrush. The battery is contained within the electronics of the toothbrush handle and the unit is then sealed to keep it water tight. For these reasons we do not provide replacement batteries for Oral-B electric toothbrushes.

If your Oral-B electric toothbrush stops working, please visit www.service.braun.com where you will find detailed information about the Oral-B warranty and servicing.

  • +1

Are these better than the Oclean X Pro Elite?

I ordered the Oclean in June and they still haven't arrived so wondering if I should just get these Oral-B's instead.

  • i have this one and the battery has always been bad, probably lasts 5 days, maybe I should have returned it during the warranty period

    • +1

Mine last for 5 days too as partner and I use same brush, but different heads. Its always on charging slot, so not a big issue for me.

  • -4

    Will ruin your gum

  • Ordered midnight mines already shipped from local store.

  • +1

Great deal. I switched the family to these 3 years ago ($90 each! Before I knew about Ozbargain) and they are great.

For those who said the battery life is poor, I've noticed that when the brush is left off the charger overnight, it'll randomly decide that it's battery is low (blinking light and not working), even when it's only been used once since the last charge.

A quick 2 seconds on the charger will reset the brush and it'll happily run all day again.
It's annoying, because I'll still need to bring a charger for a 2 days trip, just in case this rare glitch happens.

  • Which Oral B brush head is the best?

    • +1

The precision or cross action are all around good ones for day to day use. The floss action helps get in between teeth and does feel noticeably different than the precision/cross action.

  • Has anyone tried after-market ebay oral b heads?

    eg. Link ?

    • My experience with them is not great. Just not of the same quality and doesn't fit into the toothbrush exactly right compared to the genuine ones. Suggest buying genuine toothbrush heads when on sale.

      • Thanks, i got the 10 pack from costco. :)

  • Thanks OP, bought 2

  • the $10 welcome voucher doesn't work on this brush anymore.
Do we have something which costs $10 to get that one for free? :)

    • Try creating a new account using a different email address (worked for me) or checkout as a guest?

  • ordered 6, lets see if we can save some money on the kids dental bills

    • +2

You know you can just buy extra heads right? Why do you need 6?

      • +1

        2 adults 3 kids…

I know we could swap heads but I'd rather they have their own.

Just bought a heap of heads on kogan. Going all in

        • I was close. I was going to guess single mother with 5 kids.

        • genuine or after-market heads?

          • @PissLUR: After market

Bought a whole lot with the kogan first discount which I'll deactivate as soon as it ships

  • I've got the cheaper Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Toothbrush that I've had for about 4 months. I was wondering if this is worth the upgrade now or should I wait and buy it when the Oral-B Vitality Precision Clean Toothbrush needs to be replaced?

    • Vitality is the base model with limited functionality and retails around 50 and on special between $19-25. It has slower Oscillations and non Li-ion battery.

Pro 2 has RRP of $159 and sells for $60 on specials.
If you have money, you can buy this one and leave vitality as backup or for kids.

If u just want a electric brush and new, just keep using Vitality for few years.

  • These are way better than the vitality, and for those who have said the battery life isnt great, I haven't noticed this as I always keep mine on the charger. I can't imagine why anyone would not keep it on the charger when not using it. For this price, these are excellent value.

  • Thanks OP - Got 2 - Wife Approved.

  • Price is showing as $59 now
