  For anyone after a PS5 call up your local EB games sign up for a pre order and just speak to them nicely. I managed to buy two the day I pre ordered just cus someone didn't pick up their pre order and the guy in the shop called me.

  wow guys play a game that is made for PS5 and the controller does things you didn't think it could do!! OMG how to explain but play a game like dirt 5 or a plagues tale and you will know what I mean.

  To those wondering, I just got the PS5 delivered today. It's the CFI-1102A version which is the newer updated model. Spoke to the Vodafone representative on 18 August 2021 and placed an order then. Was told there was a wait time and they would have the item dispatched on 31 August 2021. It was dispatched last Friday 27 August with Startrack.

    Just be careful the new ones needs more ventilation and is around 3 degrees hotter than the old one.
    The weight drop was due to a lighter heat sink

      That’s not confirmed yet. The 3 degree increase was measured at the exhaust. The APU temp needs to be measured to show real performance differences if any.

        I wouldn't risk it yet, until it gets confirmed it's worth preventing overheating by keeping it in an open well ventilated space.
