What time are the special offers dropping?

    so i scored one (#39) after casually clicking on the site to check if the 1,000 dominos pizzas were given out today or not, saw the get code for the airpods was there & managed to claim voucher. instantly realising how incredibly lucky i just was, i rushed through the purchase thinking of nothing but the discount i just scored.

    got the confirmation email and then realised that these may not even work with my android phone.
    ive done a bit of googling, and it appears they'll work an android (but not as good as an iphone)

    does anyone have any recomendations of what I should do to make the most out of them on an android and/or input on their general experience?

      They actually work pretty well on android, from what I’ve read. You lose the special battery indicator on your phone and no Siri.

      Failing that and if you don’t like them, I’ll buy them off you ;)

      From my research in the early days, if you're able to get your hands on an apple device and set it up, the settings and shortcuts will carry over no matter the device. However I believe there are some features that wont work if not on iOS (e.g spatial audio).

    I was trying to help a relative win one, they were lucky enough to score a voucher refreshing on their phone, where I had no such luck on PC. After a lot of Allphones crashing and slow loading, the order was eventually placed and order confirmation received.

    Looking at Ozbargain comments now, it seems she was lucky that the Paypal transaction didn't crash and invalidate the code. Bad luck to those that had that happen, hopefully support will actually help you.

    Overall the experience is much better than Click Frenzy in my opinion. You just have to claim voucher and it's yours. I can't stand the random question lottery CF has turned into these days. I've stopped using them completely compared to how I used to win something each event.

    Last nights traffic and website crashing is to be expected for a genuinely good deal that was also advertised on TV, so can't blame them for that. However, the way "Use Voucher" displayed for non winners obviously lead to the traffic flowing in and crashing Allphones too. That should be fixed. My only other complaint is that you obviously have to refresh right on the second that the deal comes out to have a chance, yet they give no indication of when it may be. Leaving people refreshing for four hours between the previous deal and the AirPods is terrible. Some kind of time frame would make it a much less frustrating experience.

    From what I can tell from the screenshots I’ve seen, more people had luck getting a code through their phone than on a computer. Obviously don’t take my word for it, but it may be more reliable as the computer webpage was crashing non stop and I nearly lost my sh!t when I didn’t get a code 😂 I ended up buying a pair for $299 because I wanted some anyway

    This is such a weird website.
    You 'claim' the voucher, and it shows you the 'unique' code. From past experience it's not actually unique…
    Then you can check the box to cross it out, but what does that do? Say you've used it? Who knows…
    And then if you happen to close that page without saving the code, you can't see it again once they've all been claimed, the site just goes missing. Why can't you see the codes you've claimed?
    Such a strange experience…

        And yet I got shown 2 unique codes for the Bluey plushy yesterday (that I didn't really want), and both had already been posted on here by others.
        It's tough, because if they only give out 100 unique codes, then they're unlikely to actually sell the units noted (as some won't proceed), but if they make it first 100 to apply the code and checkout, then they have to give out more, and some that claimed the code won't be able to apply it.

        My guess is they've done a bit of a mix (maybe show 100 unique codes to the first 150 people), or it just depends on the retailer.
