Does this mean using ANZ card for online shopping? It's not like the other CR thing where your instore purchases get cashback too?
Stores in NSW are all closed.

    • Cashrewards Max is an exclusive partnership between ANZ and Cashrewards.

When you link your eligible ANZ card to your Cashrewards account and then use that card for online or in-store purchases that can earn cashback through Cashrewards, you will be eligible for boosted cashback rates (if there are boosted cashback rates advertised), as well as the other perks for Cashrewards Max.

    • Yep, this is for online shopping. You'll need to first register your eligible ANZ card to CR. Once you do that, it should notify you that you're part of the 'Max' program. Once that happens, you'll need to pay using that ANZ card that you've linked if you want to be eligible for that 'boosted' rate.

Unfortunately I'm not sure whether it works if you use a third party processer like Paypal and this is something that I've raised with them as it's quite unclear. The transactions I've made have been using the ANZ card directly and they've all worked successfully.

  • Remember to pay with your linked ANZ card to receive Max benefits.

So I can't use a third party processor such as Paypal?

Sounds like you'll still need to click through Cashrewards, can't wait for all the angry customers not working that out.

That's odd, i signed up for this awhile ago but pretty much got told to sit tight and wait for more info, unless it just went live and i haven't got the welcome email yet or something

Hi, and thanks for the comment. Just jumping in to mention this is just a soft launch. Newsletter comms, including an update to the CR App are coming in the following days. Stay tuned - exciting times ahead :)

      • Ah makes sense! Thanks for the follow up TA

      • Cheers, TA.

Have you guys considered creating an iPad App? Shopback’s iPad app is stellar.

Still has a lot of rough edges. Some of the content do not scale properly when moving from landscape to portrait mode.

So this is what ANZ got for buying 19% of Cash Rewards.

  • +1

Yeah TA. If we were to link/use ANZ card it should be open up all categories from Amazon. Not just the same old same old.

    • Exactly. Pretty disappointing if it's same old category crap.

  • -1

Sorry TA, it doesn't worth much if you have to pay by ANZ card on Amazon.

You can get 3% discount Amazon gift card easily.

    • +1

CR Max is not about Amazon. It’s about bringing strong rates across as many brands as possible with added benefits such as special promotions, accelerated approvals in as little as 14 days, and more.

      • Ah fair enough. Thanks for bring it to us anyway. I’m sure there will be someone benefits from that.

  • All categories had at least 0.3% cashback earlier today.

  • LOL CR thought my saved HSBC card was/is an ANZ card. :)

Have just updated to my actual ANZ card.

  • Does partial payment of Amazon purchase with gift card qualify for CashRewards Max if the remainder is paid with ANZ?

  • ref eligible ANZ card , which ones? all anz credit cards including debit or just rewards credit cards?

        Full FAQs here.

  • CBA started cashback on their app. Westpac started cashback on their credit cards.

    ANZ now partnering with Cashrewards.

So NAB is the single one left out?

  • Doesn't seem very exciting tbh. Probably good to sign up though, the lack of usage will require them to send out a lot of $10-$20 bonus cashback emails to get the numbers up.

  • Time for an upsized Uniqlo cash back offer please 🤞🏼
