First time poster so be kind. This is a great deal for this particular model. My old fridge died last week and I was doing some research on a new one. This fridge was around $1100-$1200.
PS: I bought an LG 594L from AO day before yesterday.

Yes, after reading a lot of neg reviews, I preferred to buy LG. However, this is a great price.
Where do you hear all these negative reports from? What were the problems?
I know a few people who have had Samsung fridge/Freezers for a few years & say they've been good.
Samsung fridges are cold garbage, even if they were free I would not get one.
I don't know why everyone is hating on samsung fridges, but I just replaced my samsung fridge and it lasted 12 years before the compressor failed.
Though the warranty is probably only 3 years, failure after just 12 years isn't exactly reliable.
My mom still uses an old Kelvinator that is much older than me, probably 50 years old. In that time the only maintenance done is the door seals changed a couple times.
So any fridge that doesn't last 50 years is not "exactly reliable"?
50 years is a bit much, but 12 also seems like not enough. It's a fridge, the moving parts are minimal and maintenance is a thing.. Expecting 20 years doesn't seem unreasonable.

ThanksI paid $1649 ($1669 price match and $20 voucher). Waiting for $250 cashback from LG. Effectively $1399.
Cannot recommend Samsung's fridge. Had one from Appliance Online in June. The pump stopped working last Saturday and ruined my food in the chiller. Very unacceptable.
there's no removal of the old fridge due to Covid, deal breaker for me.
Appliance online driver asked me for removal of my old fridge, however I said no. thought of making a few bucks over Facebook/gumtree :P
I have a samsung fridge and yes it has been nothing but garbage since we bought it!
Do not buy Samsung fridges or washing machines!
another unhappy customer here. The thermostat needed replacement within the first 2 years so lucky still covered by warranty. fast forward 4 years later, Fridge still up and running as per normal, but again not too sure how long it would last.
Do not buy a Samsung fridge!
Source: I own one :( it’s needed 3 service call outs in 5 years (the last 2 of which I had to pay for), and it’s recently decided to trip the houses circuit breaker at random, maybe once a week, usually while I’m at work. Never again!
I've had a Samsung Fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
I now have a Bosch dishwasher Fisher and Paykal washing machine and am about to ditch the fridge.
All 3 had issues in and out of warranty.
Value of them on special seems hard to beat. They've all been shit owning them.
I still have backup drain pumps for the washer because it failed so often. Changed it 4 times in 5 years.
The amount of negative reports I've heard/read about Samsung I wouldn't touch their fridges.
I think I'd prefer LG or another brand.
