Spotted this in this weeks woolies catalogue, thought it was a good buy
For $16 you get 12 beers
3 Dos Equis Lager Especiale
3 Dos Equis Ambar
3 Tecate
3 Sol
Equivalent to paying $32/case which is quite cheap. Cheapest of the included beers would be Sol and that usually hovers around $40/case, Dos Equis usually hovers around $43 a case.

i had one Dos Equis Lager Especiale (not bad) and one Dos Equis Ambar (not keen)

Sol is my fav beer!
Not my favourite but it is much better than Corona.
And Sol is what they actually drink there.
They are all very average beers (Sol especially), but you can't complain at that price. I'd be saving them for when you have the in-laws over or when you throw an Ozbargainer's party :P
Fyi, a real ozbargainer would throw a byo party :p

I quite like the Dos xx amber.
I have been told that Tecate need to be drunk ice cold and it tastes best if you do it like they do in Mexico.
Drink from a glass margaritas style with salt around the rim on the glass.
just wet the rim of the can with lime and add the salt
i think you might be thinking of a lagerita, but had forgotten the tequila and lime

I've had this bundle gifted to me before, and even though it was free, none of the beers were enjoyable.
Really recommend buying something different.
The only one of these beers that I have had before is Sol - tasted like it had been soaking in cardboard. On the comments above it doesn't seem that the others will be any better. I'll give this one a miss.
these may or may not be the greatest beers ever, but lets face it, after you've had 1/2 a crate, whats it matter?
12 beers for $16 is a bargain no matter what, its essentially a buy one get one free 6 pack deal.

can u be more specific so we know which store at least area. telling ppl u got them and without indicating any help. this is a sign of selfish yet want to show its stuff bargain hunter.
Also in SA you can get $1.20 back by returning the empty bottles…. so makes it $14.79 after container refund

This is also available in dan murphys if you're having trouble picking it up at woolies. They previously had a sampler that didn't include the tecate but it is included in the new stock they have now.
Just checked Barkly Square Woolies (brunswick - VIC) and no stock but getting more tonight so will stock up in the morning…. can't say that all those beers taste like gold but if you add lime/lemon like a corona they they should taste fine, I personally like the 2 Equis ;)
