Segway Ninebot Kickscooter E45 & $100 Beam Credit - $849 + Delivery ($0 to Metro) @ BeamSolo

60

Segway Ninebot Kickscooter E45 (E25 with the external battery) with free metro delivery.

Includes a $100 beam credit for use on their scooter and bike rental fleet.

Not the cheapest price ever but not horrible if you need it now and use Beam occasionally.

Email says it's a flash sale with no offer ends date.

Looking forward to the comments about if it's illegal in Victoria (spoiler yes)

  • Illegal in Victoria? Pretty sure you can ride it under 20 on the sidewalk.

    • Its the fact that the scooter itself can go faster then 20, that makes it illegal in vic.

      • Yes but how would officer know which model can max at what? Saw plenty of e scooters in cbd and ptv, pretty sure it's fine unless officer is having a bad day.

      • It is 10km/hr maximum and/or 200w maximum power. Pretty sure brand name scooters have labels and even if not, a quick search would match up model to power output/claimed top speed.

Fine was $826 but went up on 1st July.

Even if your scooter is legal, you MUST wear an approved bicycle helmet (fines for that too).

In other countries they have started enforcement due to the increase in scooter numbers and the risk they pose to pedestrians. Currently very limited enforcement in Victoria so you may be lucky.

NO DEAL - Its $899 on ebay and with afterpay code (AFPYDY15) 15% off = $764.15.

All time low was AU $687.73 on ebay only available for about 2 days.
    Was $699 Amazon Prime Deal.

  • What's the point of the $100 Beam credit if you own your one yourself?

    • +1

Same reason people who own cars still take Uber :-)

      • To get someone else to drive me when I'm drunk or going to the airport?

  • are these the same ones Neuron use for their scooter rentals?

    • No, neuron appear to use a heavily modified xiaomi scooter.

Beam use Segway Ninebot scooters but not this model.
