[Pre Order] Lifespan Fitness TMAPEX Apex Treadmill $1294 Shipped @ Appliances Online

100

No.1 rated consumer treadmill by choice magazine. Currently on preorder @ appliances online but has free shipping making it cheaper than everywhere else.

I'm sitting on the fence on whether I pull the trigger on this but consider second hand ones are going for $1k, this seems like a good deal.

Got a link to the Choice rating?

To be honest, I'd rather get a NordicTrack T70 for less than a $100 more.

The CHOICE test was 4 years ago and extremely limited. Only 8 treadmills tested. Brands were Lifespan, FreeForm, Orbit, York, Endurance and Pro-Form.

      • Thanks for the info. Do you have any other suggested treadmills around this price range?

        • No. A few here with Nordic Tracks are happy with them. See previous deals.

  • I have one of these it has a very anooying loud start up BEEP that I can't seem to mute! If anyone knows how to mute it that would be appreciated. Apart from that its pretty good value for it's price

    • Not sure, What about physically disabling the hardware?

      • Open up and remove speaker or destroy it? Cut a wire etc.

        • Remove or disable the speaker ?

If you leave the 3.5mm audio extender audio cable connected to the aux port of the treadmill it won't play that startup sound through the speakers anymore.

  • "Estimated delivery date: 29th September 2021"

  • Price shows $1,229

    • Appliances online discount seems to fluctuate. Cheaper is better though :)

I have this treadmill (bought in March 2019) and we use it every second day. So far, its been good and comfortable to run on. One observation which may be helpful is that when we try to incline it when jogging (at 8 kph), it struggles a little bit to lift up. Not necessarily a bad thing but some people may not enjoy it. Did not see the problem at lower speeds.

Overall its a really great machine and can highly recommend it to anyone.

  • I'd take a choice rating with a grain of salt.

Stay away from Lifespan. If you have a problem with it, they will expect you to bring it in to their service centre. I've got a cross trainer which is super squeaky and this is their stance.

  • Bought through catch but special order through lifespan and after 5 weeks of waiting my order was cancelled due to no stock. So be cautious with these orders as lifespan have no stock currently
