  • "New Quickflix Members only" should be read as new households only because this is what needs to be declared when registering with Quickflix.

  • oh damns im a old quickflix member.

so another person in the house cannot register for this?

    • The registration specifically asks you to declare that nobody else in the household has had a trial offer before.

  • I think its the household

  • Is there a catch ?

Has anyone used Quickflix before ?

I noticed their replacement price for DVD is $40 and BluRay is $50. Australia Post does not give me much confidence - What your experience with Quickflix ?

    • I tried their 2 month trial.
Found it pretty good although their selection of DVDs was limiting.
Australia Post was fine for me although I'm in Sydney

      • OK, Good to know. I was mainly interested in the Bluray and 3D Bluray. My local video shop is $5 a night for all Blurays. So $10 for a month is good, price of 2 rentals.

    • Aus Post lost a dvd that i had returned. Quikflix charged me $40 for the dvd plus $10 fee for having to charge me. Then I got aus post to track it & a month later they found it and quikflix refunded my money.

      • sounds like the tracking should be up to quickflix to do since you put them in reply paid envelopes.

    • I participated in a trial last year. I had no issues with receiving, returning or cancelling.

  • So how do these work? Do you order a movie and they mail it to you with a paid return envelope?

  • yea their system is really good.

I tried them for 6weeks. you can get 2 blu ray movies every 3days, if you click the return box online.

the only troubles I had with them, is when one of their bluray movies that they sent out got stuck in transit for 6days.

so no new movies were coming through on their list because of this. i emailed them and they said they could not do anything about it.

besides that, the bluray movies have no scratches and play perfectly.

I think it's a bit cheeky that they charge you a $12.99 joining fee as well as normal monthly costs if you don't return and cancel in time. Also, if you don't become a regular paying member at the end of the 5 weeks, you don't get the advertised "2 DVDs FREE" as you "will not qualify".

    • +1

      Nice find.

So they don't give the free dvds if you don't become a paying customers after the 5weeks.

      That's pretty dodgey.

Not worth the $10 for 5weeks then.

They use to give a 4weeks trial free deal back then.
