Not a very comfortable headset from my experience. Great sound and fantastic mic but really hard to wear for more than 30-45 mins.

I've been using one for just under a year daily, and find it comfortable. I set the clamping force to the loosest setting and it's OK.
My only annoying finding is when you turn your head to face the floor, it slides off your head. That is a combination of the headset being a little on the heavy side (it doesn't bother me) plus lowest clamping force setting.

The sound is fantastic. I use it in Warzone and positional awareness of noises is amazing.
Mic is absolutely fantastic. I use it for work as well, sharing an office with the wife and unless I'm talking everyone thinks I'm on mute.

The flip boom mute is extremely useful as well.

      All in all, 8/10.

Note: the weight doesn't bother me, but it might bother others. The headband piece is wide and very well padded.

Pleasant surprise: connects to bluetooth and dongle at the same time, so can be paired to mobile and PC. Note though, that while it can pair to both, only 1 (dongle or bluetooth) can be used for audio at any one time.

Unpleasant surprise: while the bluetooth has great range, the dingle does not. Maybe 7 to 10m before it drops off (when I leave the office).

To chime in with my review: I've been using this from roughly launch, and have used it ~6 hours a day, pretty well every day.

    The good
    • Great fundamentals- sound is probably as good as you're going to get in the low-latency, 'gaming' 'hi-fi' market. Mic is also exceptional.
    • Great battery. Since lockdown, I use this from 7am to 10pm pretty much non-stop. As mentioned, it can maintain bluetooth and dongle connections, so I stream radio and listen to youtube clips from my phone, and also use it with the dongle on my PC. I have to charge it every 3-4 days.
    • Connectivity range is great for me, but I don't have much experience with bluetooth/dongle range in the same way as I use this headset. Again, probably fine for 75% of your house, as long as you don't have more than 2 brick walls in the way.

    The bad

    • It's just not comfortable. It's clearly comfortable enough for me to wear it practically 24/7, I even wear it "one ear off" for hours at a time. But this thing just has some shocking ergonomics that it's 2-adjustments and 2 hinges per side just can't fix. You'll get the best sound with a 'harder' clamp force, but you'll be most comfortable with it at it's weakest clamp force.
    • I've replaced my earpads once already due to wear and tear. Support send me new ones for free, but buyer-beware the faux leather will eventually flake. Buy spares on aliexpress if you need.
    • USB mini, for those that care
    • This one is more of a pet-peeve, but there's a hierarchy to the connection. Bluetooth phone call will hijack (good), followed by any sounds transmitted through the dongle (also good), followed by the bluetooth. Sometimes I find the 'linger time' on that second one painful. For example, I'm listening to some music, and I get an email notification on my dongle/PC. Sometimes it'll cut the radio for as little as 3-5 seconds, othertimes it feels like 10 seconds before I get audio back on my bluetooth connection.

I bought this at $350, and at $250 I'd consider it a great buy. Buyer beware however, as you can't fix the comfort if it doesn't fit your head.

  • Pretty good when I posted it a few weeks ago.
