I've had this mouse - would recommend for the price. Just one small gripe - the mouse is quite flat and short. People with big hands will have trouble using it with a palm grip.

    • Lengthwise and heightwise, it looks similar to Razer viper? Do U know about that?

I've never tried a razer viper but if the dimensions are similar it will probably feel similar. Just keep in mind a razer viper will be lighter than this.

      • its closer to (but larger than) the viper mini

I don't recommend this mouse, the battery dies after two weeks, replaced with new batteries, died again in two weeks. Returned it.

It's frustrating that corded mice are becoming rare and usually more expensive than their battery cousins.

      • I honestly can't tell if this is sarcastic lol

      • I've generally seen that the wireless variants for mice are more expensive.

Considering that the performance would be the same and you're paying for the versatility and freedom of wireless-ness.

        G502 Wired $95 vs G502 Wireless $189.

Or in this case, the wired version of the SteelSeries 3 is $59 when not on sale.

      • but.. why buy a corded mice

        • I use a desktop and don't have reason to sit further away than my desk, computer is off during evenings so there's no time nor need for a battery…

@Deadalready: most wireless mice without replacable batteries can just be plugged in while in use anyway. plus a g305 lasts 250 hours on one battery and an orochi v2 is 425 hours / 950 hours using bluetooth.

assuming 8 hours a day, on the orochi v2 thats 2 months per battery.

  • I can't stand the G502 mouse. The mouse is too skinny. I need something fat like the G9. Anyone have any idea where I can get a G9 equivalent?

    • I don't have any personal experience with the G9 but if you're looking for a list of wide mice, you can sort this chart by width and see whether there's anything close to the G9.

The chart isn't exhaustive so there's bound to be several models missing from it.
