      To be more clear my question is the 25k sensor a gimmicky software upgrade or did they release a newer HERO sensor with upgraded hardware after the 16k.

    There's a software update from Logitech's G-hub that gives you the same DPI range of the 25k sensor found in the newer Logitech G Pro X Superlight.

      I use them daily for all my video conferencing calls, I really like the Blue Voice software which allows you to adjust the tone of your voice using an equaliser or one of the pre-sets. They sound good too, but I have never used them for gaming so can't comment on them for that.

  New to gaming mouse, does the +70$ for g pro superlight worth (I see the cheapest for that one is 219$ right now). Before I only use budge <50$ mouse so want to try something a bit high-end.

    Super light differences
    - lighter
    - removed right side buttons, g pro has buttons on either side of mouse
    - no RGB

    The weight difference is a big sell for some people. Up to you if the price diff is worth the slight changes to an already great mouse. Well both are great mice.
