My question would be, can you afford the extra $150. If so, I would do it, because you never know down the track. And to be honest, more than likely you will want it.
if i read it right, the wifi model can then send alerts, integrate with google assistant and has the ability to set temp access codes whilst away from the door
I believe the Wifi version also has a removable 10,000mah battery instead of 4 x AA and claims up to a year battery life as opposed to months.
I just can't fathom how to install it by drilling new holes in the front door, so I'll just sigh and move on

I’ve already have the eufy home base and 2C cam. Do eufy sell the alarm kit without the homebase assuming I can use the one I have for the Cameras? Also the 2C at the front of my house isn’t strong enough for distance viewing, is there a stronger camera that I can add on? Thanks

i can't speak personally speak to the quality difference, haven't tried the 2C cameras. plenty of reviews online though.

Am I able to use the SoloCam with my HomeBase that I already have or is it completely stand alone? I would prefer 2K over 1080p.

@alo1234: Well it was active when I posted. So I did bothered as it was better at that time.
Even now at $699 for 2k 4cam is way better than 2pack mentioned by OP for $639.
i still cant decide whether to get the Eufy door lock no wifi or pay $150 extra for the wifi model.
